Evangelists are needed in the public square - In this message from Acts 17:16-34, we explore Paul’s bold proclamation of the gospel in the public square, confronting a culture filled with idolatry and skepticism. Paul skillfully engages both religious and secular audiences, using partial truths they understood to introduce them to the fullness of the gospel, challenging their misconceptions about God. We’re reminded that evangelism requires boldness, conviction, and the willingness to correct false beliefs while proclaiming the Lordship of Christ. This sermon calls us to take the gospel into the world, knowing that God is near and that repentance is essential for all.
