In this episode, we talked with Mitch (Charles) Dean host of the Outdoor Pulse podcast. He is an outdoor enthusiast who has found his place skiing and climbing in the outdoors. Growing up playing team sports and now taking part in individual sports, Mitch has experienced the best of both worlds. Like many things in life, starting a hobby when you are young will lay the foundation for later in life. We dive into how he got started skiing with his family when he was young and also talk about how he got into climbing. We dive into some climbing logistics, learn some basic climbing terminology, and talk about the community and mindsets behind the climbing lifestyle. He recently moved to Colorado and is soaking up the outdoor lifestyle the state has to offer. His new podcast, Outdoor Pulse focuses on people’s unique experiences in the outdoors with a focus on outdoor sports!
