In this episode of Her Leading Story, I interview Rosanne, McTyre, PhD about her “zig-zag” career in epidemiology. Rosanne currently owns her own business that combines her skills in science and communication with her vast network of scientists and doctors. Her path to entrepreneurship was filled with different experiences and opportunities in academia, the federal government, hospitals, and corporations…. and we dig into it all in this interview.

Rosanne McTyre is a card-carrying epidemiologist. She is President of Semafore Scientific Strategies LLC, a scientific consulting firm located in Washington, DC. Currently she offers unique and valued expertise identifying and retaining experts on the plaintiff side for litigation involving complex pharmaceutical and medical device cases, and environmental litigation.
