This week on HBO Max Movie Club, host Matt Rogers decided that, in honor of the holiday season, he was going to take it upon himself to rewatch the entire Harry Potter film series. You know, for the viewers! And with those viewers in mind, he invited comedy writer and podcaster Alise Morales to help give you the high-quality HP content you deserve! Together, they sprint through all their favorite characters (why does Alise have such a soft spot for Ron?), iconic lines (93% are Year One Hermione, tbh), and costume design (can we talk about how ahead of its time this men’s fashion was!?). And, like with any great art, with praise comes critique! Like, does the leadership not care about just how unsafe Hogwarts is? Buckle into your Ford Anglias, this one’s a wild ride.
