In this episode, we discussed about a complete guide to owner representation -- for representing the Owner’s interests throughout all project phases—from inception, planning and design to construction, completion and closeout. The owner’s representative serves as the liaison between architects, engineers, contractors, testing agencies, utility providers, , financial institutions, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment) vendors and other specialty consultants and third-party vendors.
Maurice Limanto is an architect with many years’ experience in the field of commercial and residential constructions. His combined experienced as both provide wealth of insights in carrying out project in owner’s best interest. Graduated from Universitas Tarumanegara as an Architect, Mouris started his career as a 3D drafter at PT Airmas Asri, and eventually started AB Architects (PT. Arkana Buana Arsitek) in 2009.
Currently, Mouris is appointed Owner’s Representative for high-end residentials and commercial projects across Indonesia. His approach of an owner’s representation best defined as collaborative, and also focuses on accountability and assurance that all project team members are working towards the Owner’s goals and objectives, in-time and within budget.
