----- Trent Van Epps - GreenPill #10 Trent Van Epps is the founder and steward of the Protocol Guild, the experimental new funding tool which provides recruitment, retention, and reward mechanisms of core protocol contributors.

The Protocol Guild was announced at the beginning of 2022 by Stateful Works, the project behind Ethereum cultural artifacts like the Beacon Book and the 1559 NFT Series, which have collectively raised hundreds of ETH for public goods funding.

The Protocol Guild is pioneering a new mechanism for funding public goods, which employs "a split contract which distributes donated application tokens over a vesting period to a self-curated list of Ethereum protocol contributors."
