In this episode of Good Life Stories, I had the pleasure of speaking with Patrick Allmond, founder of Stop Doing Nothing. Patrick shared some fascinating stories and insights from his life and business experiences.

"I find it peaceful when I have to focus on one thing... So, that's one of the many, many rewards I get from flying."

• Patrick joined the Air Force after high school and spent four years in Omaha, Nebraska, where he learned important life skills, met his wife, and had his daughter. The Air Force experience turned him "from a boy into a man."
• One of Patrick's proudest accomplishments was getting his pilot's license in the early 1990s after starting his own business. Flying provides him an incredible sense of freedom, peace and focus.
• Patrick's main business today is providing digital marketing services to clients who need help with things like ads and lead generation. He's "the guy that puts up all the annoying digital ads."
• However, Patrick's real passion lies in teaching and helping people to take action in their lives, even if they don't know exactly what they're doing - a philosophy he captures with his "Stop Doing Nothing" and "Done is better than perfect" mantras.
• Patrick believes entrepreneurs and business owners need to talk more about what they do with friends and family, as referral business is extremely valuable. Share stories about your work like you would a day job.

"My big philosophy is Stop Doing Nothing. It's the fact that done is better than perfect. If you make constant, forward progress we get so much further in life by being willing to experiment a little bit, and go out there and do something, even if we don't know how to do it at all."
