Artist Linh-Yen Hoang suddenly found herself going viral earlier this year after Angry Asian Man and other prominent AAPI celebs promoted her “Wrong Asian” pin. Long asks her about growing up Vietnamese in Grand Rapids, the stress over not wanting to be a “one meme wonder,” and appreciating spaces for AAPI artists that allow her to uncover herself.
