On this edition of Art in Action we hear perspectives from contemporary Brazilian artist Dudu Tsuda. Dudu speaks about recent projects that are influenced by intersecting layers of reflection, reading and cultural practice. Specifically this interview highlights reflections on relationship to land, sparked by a series of recent industrial and water based industrial accidents in northern Brazil, like the Mariana disaster, which impacted Indigenous territories particularly. Dudu speaks about the impact of the writings of both Indigenous Brazilian thinker Aílton Krenak and Japanese writer Shoko Yoneyama.
