“But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, ‘Lord, who has believed our message?’ Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.” Romans 10:16-17
Jesus is a master teacher who teaches the truths of the Kingdom of God through parables. He teaches that people will respond to the gospel message with either obedience or opposition and that even though the Kingdom might seem small and insignificant now, it is becoming extraordinary. There will be many reactions to the Kingdom, yet we are called to be faithful and obedient, even living among those who oppose it. We know the Kingdom of God is growing, and evil will be defeated one day. This is where we put our trust and hope as Christians and why we commit to Jesus as Lord and Savior of our lives. We give up everything to serve and follow Him because we know something even greater is in our future.
