The Film Journal is a tool that enhances your film viewing experience by helping you reflect on the emotions you feel while watching a film!
After your viewing, you identify the emotions you FEEL and reflect on why you felt them. You get to also write your OPINION on the movie and point out what stood out from a production stand point. Ex. The acting, cinematography, setting, wardrobe, etc. The INSPIRATION section is where you get to jot down a quote or song that stood out for you or if the movie inspires you to write a poem, song, create a painting, etc. Finally, you identify what you LEARNED. You can elaborate on a topic you never understood until you saw the movie. You can also identify a new perspective on life or a situation you experienced.
