He was a Professor of the History and Politics of Modern China at the University of Oxford and the Director of the China Centre. Rana is also the author of several books, including “China’s Good War” (2020), “Forgotten Ally” (2013), “A Bitter Revolution” (2004), and “The Manchurian Myth” (2000). About the Host: Gita Wirjawan is an Indonesian entrepreneur, educator, and Honorary Professor of Politics and International Relations at the School of Politics and International Relations, University of Nottingham.
