After one of the most famous passages on love ever written, Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians says, “follow the way of love and eagerly desire spiritual gifts, especially the gift of prophecy.” Huh? What do love, spiritual gifts, and prophecy have to do with one another? This Sunday, we will explore how prophecy is relevant today — not as a plot to a convoluted superhero movie, but for the building up of communities in love — inside and outside the Church.
