This week, host Sara J is again joined by Dylan Gleit, guitarist for CO. based six-piece Eminence Ensemble.

In part two with Dylan, our chat picks up with him sharing some of the greatest pieces of advice he’s ever gotten personally and professionally. We also talk about how having the courage to take the leap back in 2020, and drive across the country to join Eminence Ensemble (hear that full story in part one) helped put him on the path toward a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, playing with Scott Page (saxophone player for Pink Floyd, Toto, and Supertramp) at Burning Man during the full moon, playing the Dark Side of the Moon in its entirety to celebrate the album's 50th anniversary. Yes, the story is as epic as I’m laying it out to be, wait until you hear Dylan tell it!

We of course chat about UM, how he found the band, Summer School 2013, being the second youngest person there, and jamming with the band. Dylan shares what UM original and cover he would like to play if he had the opportunity to sit in with the guys, the compliments he received from fans when he played a gig with UM keyboardist Joel Cummins, and we reminisce about the Eminence Ensemble official Umphrey’s McGee after party in Vail, CO in 2022, with Kris Myers sitting in. Dylan shares how the band inspires him personally and professionally, he answers some fun rapid-fire questions including what he’s listening to currently and so much more!
