Today we will travel back to the 1940s for a show filled with danger, romance, and comedy. The Falcon was a radio series that premiered on April 19th, 1943 and ran all the way until November of 1954. The shows creator Charles Huff, wrote two Falcon novels in 1936 and 1937 that were very popular. This eventually turned into a deal with RKO pictures to create several films based on his books. The films were very successful prompting a weekly radio show to be next, with Charles Huff as the lead writer.
The Falcon aka Drexel Drake, is a mysterious character, sometimes solving crimes or problems, and other times playing as more of a narrator or background character.
