This is day 331 of our journey.
Our reading today discusses the life of believers. Chapters 12 and 14 specifically speak about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Every believer is gifted by God in some way. These gifts are different for different people, but each of these spirtual gifts work together to make the church function. No one should boast about their gifts or covet those of others because we are all necessary for the health of the Church! Sandwiched between these two chapters is chapter 13, the love chapter. This placement is a reminder of the importance of showing love in the way we carry out the gifts we have received. Love is the most important thing!
