Unbeknownst to most, the rise of the Nintendo Wii awoke an ancient sleeping monstrosity that had laid dormant in the games industry since the SNES era. That ancient monstrosity was a type of games called "Shovelware." For the uninitiated, shovelware is a term for games that were hastily developed to showcase quantity over quality. You probably rented at least one of these games accidentally from Giant Eagle, or were gifted one by an estranged family member for Christmas. April showers have brought May flowers and as winter transitions to spring, we here at DT!HQ are looking for something seasonal to celebrate! Unfortunately, we've already passed the Q1 holidays. So, in an effort to save this loosely constructed episode topic, we reached back into our collective high school trauma and decided to do a Prom Episode!
