Doug starts by telling us who he is and what does he focus on and explaining a little bit the problematic of ocean pollution. Doug then talks about the connection between the pollution of freshwater and the pollution of oceans and how both of them are very similar issues, not to be separated from each other. Doug then talks about the effect society has on pollution and how others generally mirror the behavior of others. Doug then mentions some issues with the planning of waste management and how better optimization could lead to a circular economy. Ian and Doug then talk about the equipment side of things and what needs to be done in order to establish the supply chain of such machinery. Doug then talks about the importance of the value chain for establishing a circular economy worldwide. Ian and Doug then discuss the general stigma of recycling and what could be done to prevent that. In the guest outro, Doug shares some final thoughts and invites people to check him out.
