These are the questions we talked about: ? Do you think talking to people who are different from you is a little like being around a sick person? ? Why is it easier to just keep the distance present than spend time in the “sick space”? ? Sometimes, thinking about that salvation prayer during the conversation is the thing that makes it so stressful to talk to non-believers. How does the fact that we aren’t in control of (or responsible for) their responses change how you view hanging out in the “sick space” and having these conversations? ? Talking about how difficult it is to talk to different types of people can be a little uncomfortable because it can make us sound and feel judgmental. What can we do to get over our fears and judgements so that we can engage people who are different than we are? ? Sometimes, having a lot of Christian friends (or even going to a Christian school – if that’s you) can make having non-Christian friends a difficult thing. Where can you go to be around people who are different from you or who believe different things about life than you?
