In this episode, the Bruthas give their reactions to the tragic helicopter crash that took the lives of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gigi and seven others (included the pilot). They not only discuss their personal reactions, but give their impressions on why the reaction has been so strong nation (and world) wide. The Bruthas also discuss the media's role in reporting the tragedy and the introduction of a new word into the AAVE dictionary -- "Naker." In the rest of blackness, the Bruthas discuss Rep. Ayanna Pressley's brave decision to go public about her alopecia. They also discuss the travails of Deandre Arnold, a young man in Texas who is being told that he needs to cut his dreadlocks in order to graduate from high school. In entertainment news, the Bruthas give their assessment of the Grammy Awards (spoiler alert: Not enough black people won awards). They also give their review of the latest Tyler Perry comedy (despite the fact that the movie is supposed to be a legal thriller).
