In Rugby Union: Results from the opening round of the World Rugby Under-20 Championship in Cape Town: France 49-12 Spain, Wales 34-41 New Zealand, Ireland 55-15 Italy, Australia 35-11 Georgia, Los Pumitas 21-40 England and the Junior Springboks 57-7 Fiji.
In rugby league: Parramatta Eels flying teenage Wing, Blaize Talagi was denied what looked to be a certain try by the Bunker, with the decision costing the Eels crucial points against the Newcastle Knights who won 34-26 and Blaize his hat trick denied.
In other NRL games yesterday: The Sharks 14-15 the Bulldogs, the NZ Warriors 32-16 Broncos in Auckland and the Storm 16-6 Raiders at AAMI Park.

Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah were the heroes for India after Heinrich Klassen’s assault on Axar Patel tilted the match firmly in South Africa’s favour.
Earlier, Virat Kohli anchored the Indian innings as wickets tumbled at the other end, guiding India to a winning score of 176 for seven.

In Combat Sports: Former World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Anthony Joshua has only recently moved out of his Mother's north London flat to live on his own.
The former Olympic Champion, who has almost £100Million+ in the bank, has repeatedly praised his Mother for being 'an amazing woman'.
