God gives us mentors in our lives, spiritual mothers to help guide us, edify, equip and challenge us. Godly mentors call us into the more that the Lord has for us. However, when we don’t seek first God’s will and God’s timing on these relationships we will see unnecessary strain. The importance of a godly mentor is critical to our Christian faith and one of the biggest blessings in our lives when it is God ordained.
