In this episode, I discuss several new laws that will impact landlords in California. Some of the new laws include limits on security deposits, updates to no fault evictions, affordable housing and more. I also share how this impacts you as an investor wherever you live.
The LA County Department of Consumer and Business Affairs launched its Rent Relief Program on Dec. 12. It will offer grants of up to $30,000 per unit to eligible landlords for expenses dating from April 1, 2022 to the present. In this episode, I discuss why I don't believe this is enough and what you need to be considering as you decided where you want to invest.
