For our first show of 2022, we welcome DJ NewLife whose musical stylings have taken him to play in Rio, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Spain, Mexico, Portugal, the Dominican Republic, London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Toronto and all over the United States. His world travels inspired the creation of the FEX Party (Foreign Exchange) in 2009, a party dedicated to exposing his hometown of Chicago to different cultural flavors in the nightlife scene and solidifying it as an international destination for music. He has opened for many acts including The Wu-Tang Clan, The Ohio Players and Hiatus Kaiyote to name a few. With a hip hop and house DJ background and mix aesthetic, NewLife honors and upholds this legacy in a unique fashion. Over the years, he’s channeled the inspiration from his travels into a sound that has morphed into a fusion you’d have to experience to understand.
Gabe Real, Mike Styles and Mike B. are also in the mix, Blindherd is on the art and dublab is the transistor.
