Barcelona have officially gotten their new president for the next 5-7 years and his name is Joan Laporta. This is not the first time Laporta has been elected as president. After a tough fight between Friexa, Victor Font and Laporta, Laporta comes out as the winner and by a margin. Joan Laporta has a tough task ahead though, renewing Messi’s contract, Signing off players, economical issues etc. In the end, this is a huge day for football club Barcelona.
