We’re joined by Colin Birney who highlights how MSPs operate as a tier-two support system, providing expertise and assistance for institutions that may not have the resources to manage their AV systems effectively. This model allows for a more streamlined approach to troubleshooting and ensures that educational institutions can focus on their primary mission: teaching and learning.
The discussion also touches on the often amusing colloquial names given to various campus spaces. We all recount our experiences with confusing room names that can lead to miscommunication and frustration. With so many rooms named after donors or faculty members, it’s easy to see how someone might struggle to locate the “Mitchell Room” when their ticket only says “Room 101.”
