We’ve turned intuition into a buzzword—flattened it into a slogan, a gut feeling, or a vague whisper we don’t always know how to hear. But what if intuition is so much more? What if it's one of the most powerful tools we have—and we’ve just forgotten how to use it? In this episode, I’m joined by Hrund Gunnsteinsdóttir , Icelandic thought leader, filmmaker, and author of InnSæi: Icelandic Wisdom for Turbulent Times . Hrund has spent over 20 years studying and teaching the science and art of intuition through her TED Talk, Netflix documentary (InnSæi: The Power of Intuition), and global work on leadership, innovation, and inner knowing. Together, we explore what intuition really is (hint: not woo-woo), how to cultivate it in a culture obsessed with logic and overthinking, and why your ability to listen to yourself might be the most essential skill you can develop. In This Episode, We Cover: ✅ Why we’ve misunderstood intuition—and how to reclaim it ✅ Practical ways to strengthen your intuitive muscle ✅ What Icelandic wisdom teaches us about inner knowing ✅ How to use intuition during uncertainty and decision-making ✅ Why trusting yourself is an act of rebellion (and power) Intuition isn’t magic—it’s a deep, internal guidance system that already exists inside you. The question is: are you listening? This is Ken Ham, head of the ministry that built a full-size Noah’s Ark in Kentucky. If you’ve visited Ark Encounter, your first thought was probably “wow! The ark was huge!” Most people don’t realize how big the ark actually was until they see it for themselves. Now why did Noah need to build such a big ship? Well, because he, his family, the animals, and a year’s worth of supplies needed to be onboard. There was even room for anyone who repented but no one did. Now, some people think the flood was just a local event. But then why would God ask Noah to build such a big ship when he and his family could’ve just moved away? When we start with the Bible, we know the flood was a global event. Dig Deeper Grasping the Size of the Ark How Could Noah Build Something So Large?…
This is Ken Ham, author of the book on millions of years and church compromise In Six Days . In an attempt to squeeze millions of years into Scripture, many Christians believe Noah’s flood was just a small, local event. You see, if the flood really was global then all the rock layers and fossils didn’t take millions of years to form and are only a few thousand years old. So to accept millions of years, you have to reinterpret the flood. But in both the Old and New Testaments we read that only the eight people on the ark survived. If the flood was local, people outside the area would’ve been fine. A local flood completely contradicts Scripture. The Bible is very clear—the flood of Noah’s day was a global event. Dig Deeper A Flood of Evidence Defense—A Local Flood?…
This is Ken Ham, inviting you to visit the life-size Noah’s Ark at the Ark Encounter . In order to fit millions of years into Scripture many Christians argue that Noah’s flood was just a local flood in Mesopotamia. But this isn’t what the Bible says! Genesis tells us that the water covered even the highest hills “under the entire heavens.” And it emphasizes that every single living thing on land died except those on the Ark. If the flood was just local, how were all the high hills flooded with water? And how did everything on land die? And remember Noah’s flood lasted over one year! Local floods don’t last nearly that long. The Bible couldn’t be more clear—this was a worldwide event. Dig Deeper A Global Flood—Rising Above All Doubt Was the Flood of Noah Global or Local in Extent?…
This is Ken Ham, inviting you to have an encounter with God’s Word at Noah’s Ark . A growing trend in America are so-called godless churches. These are gatherings of people who sing songs, listen to inspirational messages, and even take up collections for those in need. They claim that it’s all the “good” things of church but without the religious dogma. Now this is interesting. You see, these people who claim to be non-religious are actually part of the religion of humanism! They hold to a religious dogma—that there is no God, life is the result of naturalistic process, and man makes the rules. They haven’t gotten away from religion. They’ve just embraced a different religion. Dig Deeper Yes—Godless Churches! Can Public Schools Be “Neutral”?…
This is Ken Ham, head of the ministry producing the family magazine, Answers . Millions of dollars are spent on the search for aliens, and nothing’s turned up. But evolutionists still believe they’ll turn up eventually because if life evolved here it has to have evolved somewhere else too. But starting with God’s Word, we don’t expect to find intelligent alien life. All of creation is cursed because of sin. If there’s intelligent alien life out there, it suffers from the curse but can’t be saved because it’s not a descendant of Adam. Jesus came as a man—not an alien—to save mankind from sin. We should study the heavens to learn more about what God has made, not hoping we find aliens. Dig Deeper Half of Americans Believe in Aliens Study: We Probably Won’t Hear from Aliens (Because They’re Dead)…
This is Ken Ham, inviting you and your family to visit the one-of-a-kind Ark Encounter . Here’s a new idea—aliens exist but we can’t find them because they were all killed . . . by climate change! This is an actual theory proposed by some scientists. The lack of aliens in our universe is a big problem for evolutionists. After all, if earth is the only planet that hosts life, out of thousands in our massive universe, it makes us pretty special. But earth can’t be special in their view. If life evolved here, it must’ve evolved somewhere else too. Well, according to God’s Word earth is special and it was “formed to be inhabited.” Instead of looking for non-existent aliens, these scientists should look to their Creator! Dig Deeper Aliens Killed By Climate Change! Do I Believe in UFOs? Absolutely!…
This is Ken Ham, president of the faith-defending ministry of Answers in Genesis . According to the evolutionary story, everything evolved—including our belief in God. Supposedly early cultures invented a divine being and this belief helped their society flourish, so it got passed along. Well, the Bible gives us the correct view. We’re all descendants of Adam and Eve—people who talked with God. After the global flood, Noah’s descendants took this knowledge of God with them as they spread around the earth. Sadly, sin perverted this knowledge and people invented their own gods. The Bible also tells us God has put knowledge of himself in all hearts. Everyone knows there’s a God and he calls all to repent. Dig Deeper Is God Just the Product of Evolution? ‘Myth-ing’ the Point…
This is Ken Ham, inviting you to the Creation Museum where kids visit free. Neanderthals have long been considered not quite as human as we are. But the more we study them, the more obvious it becomes that they were humans just like us. Did you know Neanderthals made fish hooks, musical instruments, rope, jewelry, make up, and even glue? They even practiced dental hygiene and cared for each other’s medical needs. This doesn’t surprise those who start with God’s Word. Neanderthals were descendants of Adam and Eve, made in God’s image, just like us. They may have looked a little different from us, but this just highlights the incredible variety in human DNA that God created in the first place. Dig Deeper Putting out the Fires of Evolutionary Beliefs Neanderthals: Our Worthy Ancestors…
This is Ken Ham, an author and speaker on science and the Bible’s reliability. Creationists and evolutionists both agree that natural selection is a real process—we observe organisms changing over time. But these changes aren’t the same as evolution. Natural selection only works on what’s already there. It can’t add brand-new genetic information. But you need lots of brand-new information to turn a fish into a frog! While we can agree natural selection happens and organisms do change, we disagree on how much they can change. Creationists believe organisms can only reproduce according to their kind—and that’s exactly what we observe. Cats produce cats, dogs produce dogs, and finches produce finches. Dig Deeper Four Differences Between Natural Selection And Evolution Natural Selection and Macroevolution…
This is Ken Ham, author of the popular book on evolution and the church The Lie . If we could time travel back to the pre-flood world it would look a lot different! Originally, there weren’t seven continents. There was just one landmass that broke apart during the flood. This explains why there are sediment layers that stretch between continents. Now, evolutionists also agree with creationists that there was only one landmass in the past. But they believe it took millions of years for the continents to drift apart. Creationists and evolutionists observe the same world, but we come to totally different conclusions because of our different starting points. It’s not a battle over the evidence! It’s God’s Word versus man’s opinion. Dig Deeper Noah’s Lost World Plate Tectonics…
This is Ken Ham, inviting you to visit the full-size Noah’s Ark at the Ark Encounter . The earliest fossils are marine ones, then amphibians and reptiles, and finally birds and large mammals. There are exceptions, of course, but that’s the basic order we observe. Evolutionists believe this basic order is because life supposedly arose from a common ancestor and gradually got more complex. But the Bible offers another interpretation. The global flood would’ve buried creatures, starting in the oceans and moving farther inland. The order in the fossil record doesn’t represent different times—it represents different environments. Of course we’d see marine fossils before birds as the floodwaters rose to cover the continents. Dig Deeper Order in the Fossil Record Doesn’t the Order of Fossils in the Rock Record Favor Long Ages?…
This is Ken Ham, a missionary with a passion for God’s Word and the gospel . Humans and apes have similarities: five fingers, opposable thumbs, and even some similarities in DNA. Of course, we also have massive differences! Creationists and evolutionists agree there’s similarity but not why we have similarities. Evolutionists believe apes are our closest living relatives. They think the similarities point to a common ancestor. But we know from God’s Word that humans are created in the image of God distinct from all animals—including apes. We share common features because we have a common Designer. The different interpretations are because of our different starting points. Dig Deeper Do Humans and Chimps Share a Common Ancestor? “Common Design Means Common Ancestry”…
This is Ken Ham, head of the ministry behind the powerful Answers VBS . Creationists and evolutionists can agree on some things such as, well, we don’t know everything. But being a creationist doesn’t mean we just say “well, God did it” and move on. Knowing the Creator makes us want to learn more about what he’s made. Starting with God’s Word, we know there are absolutes such as the creation of earth and the universe by God from nothing, the age of the earth, or the global flood. We use the true history from God’s Word as a framework for interpreting the world around us. So, with that framework in place, we study God’s creation to find answers to some of those things we don’t yet know. Dig Deeper The Bible—“It’s Not Historical” 3 Evidences That Confirm the Bible Is Not Made Up…
This is Ken Ham, author of the newly updated classic, Evolution: The Lie . Evolutionists say that evolution sometimes happens so fast that we can actually observe it. Is this “rapid evolution” the smoking gun? Not at all! What these researchers are observing is natural selection. God created each organism with an incredible amount of genetic variability so they could adapt to new environments. But this process of adaptation, or natural selection, usually causes organisms to lose genetic information. We see organisms changing all the time. But finches remain finches and lizards remain lizards. What we’ve never observed is new information being added to change one kind into another kind. Dig Deeper Has Evolution Really Been Observed? Feedback: Observed Evolution…
This is Ken Ham, author of the book on the flood, geology, and fossils, A Flood of Evidence . Earlier this year radar scans in Greenland revealed an abandoned Cold War military base, buried under one hundred feet of ice in just over fifty years! This is a great reminder that it doesn’t take thousands and thousands of years to accumulate the ice sheets. They can form really quickly! After the global flood of Noah’s day, the conditions were perfect for an ice age. This ice age, and the massive snowstorms it would’ve caused, would’ve formed hundreds of layers very, very quickly. The ice sheets aren’t the result of slow and gradual processes over long ages. They’re the result of the flood and its aftermath! Dig Deeper Do Greenland Ice Cores Show over One Hundred Thousand Years of Annual Layers? Do Ice Cores Show Many Tens of Thousands of Years?…
