Julius interviews Madeleine McNamara, Advocacy and Engagement Administrator at NCBI, on the current situation of visually impaired people in Ireland. Madeleine is blind herself, and she tells us more about her emphasis for setting more awareness-raising measures. She is thinks that it is important that people listen to each other to avoid wrong assumptions about the needs of blind and partially sighted persons.

Through this initiative, journalist Julius Kratky will interview people from different EBU National Members to know more about the situation of blind and partially sighted people across Europe.
