One truth that we all can agree on is that life is filled with both joy and loss. Regardless of where we live, who we are, or what we do our lives are a constant swirling of both joy and loss. When the seasons of our lives change, and sometimes abruptly, the support of friends, professionals, and loved ones is paramount to healing. However, often times friends and loved ones do not always know how to support someone in a healthy manner. In Episode 6: Life After Loss I am honored to share the space with my dear friend, Sarah, as she shares her heart about the loss of her sweet daughter, Ellie. In this episode Sarah shares openly how the loss affected her family and marriage, as well as honest talk about the pressures people feel in the season of grieving. She also discusses what was helpful in the form of support from others, how to take steps to grieve in a healthy way, and most importantly the honoring of a loved one in a way that brings peace and meaning to your family.
