What is the work of the Lord? Acts 10:38
How do we do good?
Goodness flows from within and results in good works.
Question: Are we driven by the Goodness of God or by culture?
We are ‘hand-crafted’ for good works. Ephesians 2:10
God has prepared these good works in advance for us.
You could be the key that opens the goodness of God to someone else.
Doing good works is intrinsic to who we are as believers.
We are who we were created to be when we act as God intended for us to act.
What did Jesus say about His work? Luke 4:18
Preach-to announce good news.
Heal the broken hearted-those completely crushed, shattered.
Bring deliverance to the captives-freedom or pardon. Captives-prisoners of war.
Recovery of sight to the blind-opaque, smokey-to bring clarity.
To set at liberty those who are bruised-oppressed or crushed.
The Work of the Lord defined. 1 John 3:8
Jesus came to wreck Satan’s power.
What a reason to do the works of the Lord!!
