In our first minisode and New Year's bonus we look at a collaborative art piece by Die Antwoord and Roger Ballen. Deranged, utterly strange and “universally offensive” is but a few ways that this dark and freeky music video can be described. But viewing it as a zef subversion of conservative Afrikaans culture, scratched open many more questions about race, artistic motive and appropriation.
