Today we have the anonymous, decentralized music artist, omgkirby, on a mission to revolutionize how music creation and distribution are approached. Driven by issues plaguing today’s music industry, in 2020, he set out to test a hypothesis: Can they create incredible, and valuable, generative music that people want to own the IP and rights to?

In a 2 year span, he has released a successful generative music collection, partnered with the likes of Jaden Smith, and built a DAO, granting fans membership along with ownership of each song’s masters and publishing rights.

He’s here today to discuss AI’s use in his creative process and take me up on my challenge to see if he can create a new theme song to this podcast in only 5 mins.
