Many people unfortunately believe that purpose of our practice of religion and spirituality is to secure our place in the next life. It is not.
It’s about our individuality and collectively experiencing the wellbeing and peace of God in this life… to dwell in the house of the Lord our whole life long.
As we abide in the way, as we stay connected to the vine as the Gospel of John describes it, our lives manifest fruit.
Paul describes the fruit as: love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
