1 221 \\ Client Check-In: Is Your House Too Big? My Favorite Tip When Decluttering and Organizing Big Houses 37:58
Ever feel like your house is technically big enough… but still feels totally chaotic? You’ve got the shelves, the closets, the bins—but no clue how to use them in a way that actually works? If you’ve ever been so overwhelmed by the idea of decluttering or creating systems that you just freeze up and avoid it altogether, this episode is for you. Today, I’m checking in with one of my coaching clients—a stay-at-home mom of four little ones—who felt that same way. She had plenty of space, but no systems in place to make that space actually serve her family. We talk about what it looked like to walk through her home together, how having support helped her push through when she wanted to quit, and what finally clicked to make her storage work instead of just collect more stuff. If you’ve been stuck, discouraged, or unsure where to start—come listen in. You’re not alone, and there’s hope. If this episode blessed you, leave a review! 1 220 \\ Bible Study for Moms: Transformation Happens in the Ordinary - The Life-Changing Power of Repetition 21:02
Think your home will finally run smoothly after one big push or a perfect plan? Think again, friend. In today’s Bible study episode, we’re uncovering the truth about how real transformation happens—and it’s not through dramatic changes or bursts of motivation. It’s through the small, ordinary, repeated choices you make every single day. We’ll talk about the life-changing power of repetition, how God works in the ordinary, and why your daily routines (yes, even the messy, imperfect ones) are exactly where transformation begins. If you’re feeling discouraged by slow progress or waiting for that “just right” moment to get your home in order, this episode will encourage your heart and give you a new perspective on the work you’re doing. Grab your Bible, take a deep breath, and let’s see how God is using your everyday faithfulness to shape something beautiful. If this episode blessed you, leave a review! Feel like you can’t stay focused long enough to finish anything? In today’s episode, I’m teaching you one of my favorite ADHD-friendly strategies: the Sticky Note Method. I’ll walk you through how to use it step-by-step, share practical tips for success, and give ideas for how to make it part of your daily rhythm—especially if you struggle with executive function. You’ll also learn how to use this tool for accountability, motivation, and even rest—because breaks after the sticky note feel way better than breaks during it. Are you saving things “just in case”—but deep down, you’re not sure if that’s wise or just clutter in disguise? It can be hard to tell the difference between being a good steward and holding onto stuff out of fear. Especially when you’re trying to prepare, be responsible, and not waste anything. But at some point, those good intentions can turn into clutter, chaos, and even anxiety. In today’s episode, we’re digging into this question: When is it wise to store things—and when does it cross the line into hoarding? We’re going to unpack: Why Joseph’s storage before the famine wasn’t fear-based, but full of purpose and planning How having systems and structure is what separates stewardship from clutter What it looks like to save with generosity and intention—not guilt or "what if" How to tell if you’re hoarding in disguise, even if your heart is in the right place What Scripture shows us about finding peace and balance in what we keep and what we release Whether you’re holding onto baby clothes, homeschool supplies, or a packed pantry, this episode will help you pause and ask: 👉 Am I saving this with wisdom? Or am I just afraid to let go? Let’s talk about what it looks like to manage our homes with open hands, purpose, and peace. If this episode blessed you, leave a review! Have you ever looked around your home and thought, Why do we have so much stuff we don’t even use? When life gets overwhelming, clutter sneaks in and makes our homes feel heavier than they should. Today, we’re going to look at what the Bible says about stewarding our stuff—and how it can help you live lighter and more at peace. Here’s what we’ll cover: You’re Meant to Manage, Not Hoard — God trusts you with your belongings for a reason. Fear Leads to Hoarding — Keeping things "just in case" often comes from fear, not faith. Faithful Stewards Use What They Have — Stewardship means using and sharing what you've been given, not hiding it away. Letting Go Builds Trust — Decluttering is a step of trusting God to meet your needs. The holidays can feel like a tug-of-war, especially when family members don’t understand your desire to give less to your children. Maybe you’ve embraced a more minimal lifestyle, hoping to focus on meaningful experiences over mountains of gifts. But when relatives insist on buying excessive toys or overloading your kids with stuff you don’t need or want, it can be frustrating. It’s tempting to argue, defend your choices, or try to convince everyone why less is better. But sometimes, picking a battle over these things only creates tension and steals your peace. The truth is, you don’t have to get everyone on board to stick to your values. This Christmas, let’s choose peace over the need to control how others contribute. I’ll share tips for gracefully setting boundaries, managing expectations, and finding compromises that keep the season joyful—without sacrificing your desire for simplicity. The holidays are about connection and love, not proving a point or getting family to see things your way. Together, let’s navigate these challenges with grace and keep the focus on what truly matters: creating a peaceful, meaningful Christmas for your family. If this episode blessed you, leave a review! Coaching for Cluttered Christian ADHD Mom Have you ever felt that whisper in the back of your mind while you’re decluttering, telling you that what you're getting rid of is good stuff that you could make money off of? We've all been there, caught between the idea of making some extra cash and the desire to just get rid of the stuff that’s taking over our space. It's a tough call, especially when time and energy are already stretched thin. But let's face it, selling things can feel like another full-time job. Photos, listings, messages, meet-ups – it can quickly become overwhelming. And no one wants to pay what you think the item is worth, right? Plus, the time you spend trying to sell each item can add up quickly, leaving you feeling drained and still surrounded by clutter. When you're an ADHD mom, every minute counts. You need to weigh whether the effort to sell your stuff is worth the potential reward or if it’s better to donate and move on. It’s easy to get caught up in the dream of making a little extra money, but the reality is that selling can be a time-consuming and often frustrating process. Imagine the relief of clearing out a whole room in a single afternoon because you decided to donate instead. No haggling, no waiting for buyers to show up – just a cleaner, more peaceful space. It’s tempting to think of the potential earnings, but sometimes the biggest payoff is the peace of mind and the extra time you get back for yourself and your family. In today's episode, my client, Angela, shares her honest experience of trying to make some money from her decluttered items. It was a hard pill to swallow, but she realized she just needed to let the items go and gain back her time instead of her money. Join us as she shares her experience. Coaching for Cluttered Christian ADHD Mom Are your evenings a chaotic free-for-all, with kids running around at all hours and you collapsing into bed, exhausted and craving just a moment of peace? Without a consistent bedtime routine, many parents find themselves trapped in this cycle, sacrificing their own well-being and personal time. But what if there was a way to reclaim your evenings while also benefiting your children's development? Establishing a bedtime routine isn't just about getting kids to sleep—it's about creating structure that supports their growth and your sanity. Children thrive on predictability. A consistent bedtime routine helps regulate their internal clocks, leading to better sleep quality and duration. This, in turn, supports their cognitive development, emotional regulation, and physical health. Regular sleep patterns can improve attention spans, boost learning capabilities, and even strengthen immune systems. Moreover, a well-structured bedtime creates opportunities for meaningful connection. Whether it's through reading stories, sharing the day's events, or simply cuddling, these moments become cherished rituals that strengthen your bond. By implementing a bedtime routine, you're not just setting your kids up for a good night's sleep—you're laying the foundation for better behavior, improved academic performance, and overall well-being. And as an added bonus, you might just find yourself with that elusive personal time you've been craving.
