Helen Keller was a deaf, mute, and blind woman born in 1880, that was taught to read and communicate by teacher Anne Sullivan. Her story was made famous by the movie The Miracle Worker, based on the play, that was based on her autobiography.
While some of her accomplishments may cause doubt as to their validity, what's being denied is the easiest thing to prove. If she existed at all.
