It was August of 1997 when 21 year old Ricky Cowles was found murdered in his apartment by his girlfriend, Amy Preasmyer and her friend Sara. Nothing about this scene. This wasn’t a robbery - there were no signs of forced entry and the apartment wasn’t ransacked, nothing was missing. He didn't appear to have any enemies. So what reason could someone possible have to murder him in his own home? The answer to that question would shock everyone.
