РЕКЛАМА
“I used to be the largest dairy consumer on the planet. I used to eat so much dairy and meat. The more that I looked into the dairy industry, the more that I saw that it was the singular, most inhumane industry on the planet, that we've all been lied to, including myself, for years. I always believed that the picture on the milk carton, the cow standing next to her calf in the green field with the red barn in the back was true. It’s certainly the complete opposite.” – Richard (Kudo) Couto Richard (Kudo) Couto is the founder of Animal Recovery Mission (ARM), an organization solely dedicated to investigating extreme animal cruelty cases. ARM has led high-risk undercover operations that have resulted in the shutdown of illegal slaughterhouses, animal fighting rings, and horse meat trafficking networks. Recently, they released a damning investigation into two industrial dairy farms outside of Phoenix, Arizona supplying milk to Coca-Cola’s Fairlife brand. What they uncovered was systemic animal abuse, environmental violations, and a devastating betrayal of consumer trust. While Fairlife markets its products as being sourced "humanely," ARM’s footage tells a very different story—one of suffering, abuse, and corporate complicity. Despite the evidence, this story has been largely ignored by mainstream media—likely due to Coca-Cola’s massive influence and advertising dollars.…

Carmen - De Nationale Opera by Nationale Opera & Ballet
Previously on Soft Valkyrie. Brunnhilde, resigned to disappear into her coma, begged Wotan to at least surround her with a magic fire that will scare away everyday adventurers so that only the most fearless of heroes might manage to awaken her. Wotan is deeply moved by this proposal and accepts it. The two cherish their final moments together in soft eyes, embraces, kisses, and a sweet lullaby. Thank you for listening to Soft Valkyrie, we hope you’ve enjoyed the show. This has been a co-production between Holland Festival, Staatsoper Hanover, and Dutch National Opera, with additional support from NTR radio and Goethe Institut. Special thanks to Jochem Valkenburg at Holland Festival, Jasper Berben and Manon Scheurs at Reinekwint, and the Sound departments at Staatstheater Hannover, Soho Square Studios London, and Splendor Amsterdam. An uncut version of the full opera following along with the vocal score is available on YouTube. The uncut piece is also available for free download at davidkanaga.bandcamp.com.…
Previously on Soft Valkyrie, Brunnhilde explained herself further to Wotan, first asking for his mercy, but eventually proudly embracing her decision and fate, with no regrets. She has helped save the Walsung family, by sending Sieglinde and the broken sword off to the forest, where the mother-to-be will soon give birth to the heroic child of incest, Siegfried. Wotan responded with ambivalence, acknowledging that her defense of Siegmund reflected his deeper intentions, but he remains committed to his punishment. Wotan is preparing for his awful deed. Let’s pause briefly to collect ourselves before the fire is lit, as he sings to Brunnhilde his most gentle lullaby. To find out how this story ends, you’ll have to tune in next time, to Soft Valkyrie.…
Previously on Soft Valkyrie. After Wotan threw a fit on discovering that Brunnhilde’s eight sisters were hiding her from him, she finally willingly came forward to submit to his punishments. He explained his plan– to put her into a deep coma, and leave her to lie in wait. She will only awaken if someone braves the danger to find her. And then she will marry this savior. The valkyries were appalled at this idea, and begged their father to revoke his sentence, but Wotan denied them in spite and fury, sending the group away, leaving himself alone with Brunnhilde, exhausted in the twilight. In spite of all Brunnhilde’s pleas and entreaties, Wotan sounds like he’s still angry and sticking to his plan. To see how this goes, you’ll have to tune in next time, to Soft Valkyrie.…
Previously on Soft Valkyrie. Brunhilde arrived at the Valkyrie’s rock, where her sisters were gathering with corpses of heroes to bring to Valhalla, Wotan’s debt-plagued palace of death. She asked for someone to help with Sieglinde, who exited East with a sublime finale. But no sooner was this goal achieved than Wotan appeared in a fury, preparing to inflict the severest punishment on his daughter for her insubordination. Brunhilde’s sisters have left her alone with their dad. The prognosis doesn’t look good, but the temperature has cooled somewhat. It’s dusk now. To find out whether Brunnhilde will manage to gain her angry father’s sympathies, you’ll have to tune in next time, to Soft Valkyrie…
Welcome back to Soft Valkyrie. We’ve just left the scene of battle, where Wotan was flying into a rage at Brunnhilde’s disobedience. Now, look off to the horizon. See that peak out there? T hat’s where Brunhilde’s sisters, the other Valkyries, like to gather and play with their dead heroes. Brunhilde has just escaped the scene of battle with Sieglinde in tow, and must be headed in their direction to ask for help. Let’s fly on over, and see how things are going. Now Wotan has arrived and he is sounding very angry. What will happen when he finds Brunhilde? To find out, you’ll have to tune in next time, to Soft Valkyrie.…
Previously on Soft Valkyrie. Siegmund met Brunhilde, who came bearing bad news at first. A noble death dialog ensued. But no sooner had Siegmund valiantly threatened to murder his new sister-bride so as to meet her in Valhalla when he died, Brunhile changed her mind, and joined Siegmund’s side, against their father’s wishes. Now Hunding approaches, and we will see how things play out. So there you have it. Siegmund and Hunding are both dead on the rock. Brunhilde has escaped with Sieglinde, and Wotan is in a furious rage. What will happen next? To find out, you’ll have to tune in next time, to Soft Valkyrie.…
Previously on Soft Valkyrie. Sieglinde and Siegmund were shown in a terrible mood far from the erotic bliss of their innocent foray into brother-sister cuckoldry. They realize what they’ve done, and what fate awaits them when they are discovered by Hunding and his hounds. Both are utterly frazzled and preoccupied with thoughts of death, when Brunhilde appears. There they are. Hunding’s horns. Hunding’s hounds. The battle is upon us. From Brunhilde’s dazzling exit, we know that she is willing to fight for Siegmund, against their fathers’ will. But what will come of it all? Find out next time on Soft Valkyrie.…

Previously on Soft Valkyrie. Wotan confessed the end of his backstory to Brunhilde, and passed on to her the bad news that she must not help Siegmund. Rather she must lead him to his death. Wotan left, leaving Brunhilde alone, whence she took her horse bridle and went off in search of Siegmund. Siegmund is exhausted and Sieglinde is asleep. Perhaps they’ve finally realized the gravity of their situation, the incestuous afterglow no longer hints at glory, but something wicked to come.. Now Brunnhilde has arrived. To find out what happens, you’ll have to tune in next time, to Soft Valkyrie…
Previously on Soft Valkyrie. Wotan began to describe his backstory to Brunhilde. We learn of Alberich’s theft of the Rhinegold, of the laborer Fafner’s departure with the gold in the form of a dragon, and of Wotan’s desire to kill him which is impeded by his contractual obligation. Brunhilde is deeply torn between law and family loyalty. She believes herself to know best her father’s will, which is opposed to his voiced concession to Fricka. And yet, that’s not what he said. She is flustered. Now, off she goes in search of Siegmund, her half brother. What have he and his sister been up to since we last saw them? To find out, you’ll have to tune in next time, to Soft Valkyrie.…
Previously on Soft Valkyrie. We learned that Fricka is none too happy about this incestuous cuckoldry. In her sovereignty as the god of marriage, she has elicited a commitment from Wotan not to help Siegmund during the coming battle. Instead, Hunding should prevail, and avenge the affair. …Now Wotan is alone with Brunhilde, to whom he must convey the altered plans. Wotan is very stressed out by all of this. What further lore has he to share? To find out, you’ll have to tune in next time, to Soft Valkyrie.…
Previously on Soft Valkyrie, Wotan had a brief meeting with his daughter, the Valkyrie Brunhilde. No sooner had he commanded her to aid Siegmund in the coming battle with Hunding, the great god’s wife arrived with a different plan. This did not go as Wotan had planned. What will happen next? To find out, you’ll have to tune in next time, to Soft Valkyrie.…
When we left off, Siegmund and Sieglinde had just embarked on their incestuous adventure, leaving behind Sieglinde’s cuckolded husband Hunding to wake up to the bad news at dawn. We've since walked several miles from the forest of Hunding's hut, and are now at the base of a mountain where the couple's father spends his time–Wolf, as they called him, or Wotan, Odin–god of contracts and bad weather. It is a new day, at high noon. Let's see what happens next. Wotan seems to dread his wife’s arrival. What could he fear from Fricka? To find out, you’ll have to tune in next time– to Soft Valkyrie.…
