Good morning, Columbus folks! It's time for your daily weather update brought to you by the National Weather Service. I'm here to keep you in the know about what Mother Nature has in store for us.
Let's dive into today's forecast. Overnight, we have a slight chance of showers with mostly cloudy skies and a low around 42. Expect a west wind around 13 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 20%.
As we move into Wednesday, there's a slight chance of showers in the morning, followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Showers are likely with the possibility of a thunderstorm after 5 pm. It will be mostly cloudy with a high near 49 and a southwest wind of 11 to 15 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 60%.
Wednesday night brings rain showers transitioning to rain and snow showers with some thunder possible. The low will be around 37 with a southwest wind of 10 to 13 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 80%, with little to no snow accumulation expected.
Thursday will see rain and snow showers, becoming all rain in the afternoon. Some thunder is also possible with a high near 48. Expect a west wind of 7 to 11 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 100% with minimal snow accumulation.
Heading into Thursday night, we have showers and thunderstorms before midnight, followed by a chance of showers until the early morning hours. The low will be around 35 with a northwest wind of around 11 miles per hour. The chance of precipitation is 100%.
