Dr. Rod Berger takes a deep dive into the 4th Industrial Revolution with the noted futurist who coined the term over a decade ago, Professor Henrik von Scheel. Berger and von Scheel were included in the recently published book out of Dubai, "Voices of the Future." Henrik is best known as the originator (Godfather) of the 4th Industrial Revolution and Digital themes of today. Henrik is a strategist, futurist, and speaker who has evolved the mainstream business thinking and practices today. His work transcends borders, impacting more than 24 national economies, influencing GDP growth, triggering global themes, and shaping the performance of the fastest-growing companies, i.e., 23% of the Fortune 500. Henrik is a Professor at Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business. " The most influential management thinker of our times.” -H.H. The “Digital Agenda” was adopted by the European Commission in 2010 as the Europe Digital Agenda 2020 and evolved into the European Digital Revolution. It is one of Europe’s seven flagships—responsible for 5% of GDP, with a market value of €660 billion annually. The “Digital Agenda” evolved into the global digital theme of today. In 2011, Prof von Scheel foresaw the future and coined the term the 4th Industrial Revolution, becoming one of the masterminds and driving forces behind its inception. As members of the Advisory Group for the Federal Ministry of Education & Research, Prof. Henrik von Scheel, Prof August Wilhelm Scheer, and Prof Henning Kagermann were tasked to define the high-tech strategy for Germany. The final “Industry 4.0” was announced in April 2013 as an interministerial innovation policy initiative. Happy World Oceans Day, 2024! A special episode of HeadRoom features the incomparable talents of cinematographer, musician, composer, and eco-preneur Joshua Sam Miller . A noted sound and visual activist, Miller has combined his wealth of experience and talent to represent the power of the oceans and marine life, which is desperate for us to understand their delicate environment better. In 2020, the project was accepted as part of the International Year of Sound featured by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association in Santa Cruz, CA, and debuted at Burning Man 2019 . In 2021, he presented his work at the United Nations Climate Conference COP 26 . He was featured on PBS Television , Agape Zoe Festival , World Oceans Day , and as an artist in residence at MONOM Sound Berlin .
