ARM has led high-risk undercover operations that have resulted in the shutdown of illegal slaughterhouses, animal fighting rings, and horse meat trafficking networks. Recently, they released a damning investigation into two industrial dairy farms outside of Phoenix, Arizona supplying milk to Coca-Cola’s Fairlife brand. What they uncovered was systemic animal abuse, environmental violations, and a devastating betrayal of consumer trust. While Fairlife markets its products as being sourced "humanely," ARM’s footage tells a very different story—one of suffering, abuse, and corporate complicity. Joseph Scott Morgan, M.F.S., F-ABMDI, is the Distinguished Scholar of Applied Forensics at Jacksonville State University where he holds the faculty rank of Associate Professor of Applied Forensics. Morgan holds a Master of Forensic Sciences degree from National University and is a Board-Certified Fellow of the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators. Morgan is considered one of the leading experts on the Coroner System in the United States. We’re proud to have brought another live broadcast from East Hampton Library’s Authors Night! The annual fundraiser raises money for the East Hampton Library, and this year featured book signings and meet & greets with over 100 authors, from celebrity memoirists to nationally acclaimed journalists to a certain iconic astrophysicist. The prestigious iterary event was held at Herrick Park in East Hampton from 5pm to 7pm on August 12th, 2023. WLIW-FM spoke with an amazing array of writers.
