In the Frame has a great line up in this edition of the Talking ArtZ podcast..
There is so much art coming up in the Blue Mountains over the next few weeks.
But first tonight we kick off with some great news for creatives.
Arts OUTWEST is about to announce a new round of micro grants for artists affected by recent natural disasters – floods and Covidl…. Stay tuned.
Jenny also speaks with landscape artist Herman Pekel (pron peakel) who will be exhibiting at the Lost Bear Gallery in Katoomba for six weeks from April 1.
And the Kedumba Drawing collection in Wentworth Falls, which is regarded as the most significant collection of drawings in the country outside the National Gallery in Canberra, has just taken in several new works.
Jenny speaks to Kedumba curator/director Marlene Plummer….
Anne Edwards began working with clay at 16. Mentored by Col Levy and Maureen Williams, the resulting pots toured in ArtExpress and since then Anne has worked in studios in Japan, Brazil, Germany, Thailand and Australia. The professor talks to anne about her ceramics and about her music in the second hour on Blue Mountains live.
