This is episode #2 of Live Empowered with me, Dr. Lisa Summerour and today I’m talking about the experience of going home . . . more specifically, I’ll be sharing about my experience going back to the place where my people are from, in my case, to the community Lincoln Park in Rockville, Md where my mother and her siblings grew up. Founded in 1891 it was one place in Montgomery County where blacks could own land. Learn how this small community continues to be a source of pride and empowerment for its residents and descendants.
