The wheels are moving fast in the process of setting up a legal cannabis industry in New Mexico. Recently, the Department of Regulation and Licensing announced the membership of the Cannabis Regulatory Advisory Committee, which will weigh in on the most up to date rules for producers, which are nearing finalization. Those rules will pave the way for the processing of license applications for cannabis producers, cannabis producer microbusinesses and properly licensed medical cannabis producers. Co-hosts Andy Lyman of the New Mexico Political Report and Megan Kamerick, News Director at KUNM, held a special Facebook live on August 9th to get an update on the process with Regulation and Licensing Superintendent Linda Trujillo.
