We love our National Parks! It's our honor to welcome National Park Service Spokesperson, Grace Hassler, to share all the water safety tips you need for a successful and safe National Park visit. Grace assists with national communications that cover a variety of topics, but is always thrilled to talk about paddling and general outdoor recreation preparedness. She has a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resource Management from the University of Delaware and a Master of Environmental Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. As a certified river kayak and canoe instructor, Wilderness First Responder, and being trained in swiftwater rescue, we could have asked for a better guest to prepare us.
