Eve often gets bad rap for being the first one to partake of the fruit in the Garden of Eden, but have you ever thought it was one of the most wise, courageous choices she could have ever made. I know and believe that she was called to partake of it and Adams supporting decision to partake of the fruit made it possible for all of us to be here today. Without both of their choices we would not be here. This teaches me that without Eve families would never be eternal and without Adam families would not be eternal. It took BOTH of them to partake of the fruit. This principle alone teaches us about the importance of a husband and a wife, (marriage) we can't do it alone. One point I do talk about is, is we don't know how soon after Adam partook of the fruit once Eve partook of the fruit. It could have been minuets or it could have been years, but learning to be patient with our spouse as we grow together is so important. Agency is a gift from God and the best thing about it is that we agreed to it in the beginning. We chose to have agency, we wanted it despite the hardship that we would face. Desires are wants and passions that we have and its so important to have desires. In the scriptures Eve desired to be wise, and the only way she would become wise was partaking of the fruit. Why she asked if there was any other way was because she knew that partking of the fruit would now allow pain to come upon her children. Often times we have desires and they aren't given to us in the way we expect and that can be very frustrating and hard. The one thing that I have to remember is that God is on my team and he wants to bless me, he is not sitting in the corner saying I am ready to dissapoint my son by not giving him what he desires. When we feel like there isn't any hope or we feel like we have fallen to deep, never forget there is always someone there. As we go through life and we have trails and misunderstandings sometimes we can feel alone and pessimistic but as we continure to learn and to trust, we start to be informed and more opptomistic. We need to keep moving and pushing through and doing the hards things to get ourselves out of our deep hole. Have you ever Felt alone Amoungst so Many? 20:32

As we go through life I think every so often we feel alone, whether that be we don't feel like we fit in, we feel depressed, we are going through postpartum, we feel shame. There are so many different ways we can feel that lonliness. Even Jesus our Savior felt utterly alone because he had to to he would know how to help you and me. We are here on this earth to learn and grow and we often have to grow through this. As I talk about the poppy flower and how much this flower means to me it helps me know that I truly am not alone. We bloom when we are ready and it doesn't mean we are any less if we are the last one to bloom. We are still just as beautiful as the other flowers. I also believe as we begin to start blooming others notice and they want to bloom as well, then soon enough we have this beautiful garden filled with flowers. As we discuss the topic of trust, it is a matter of faith over fear. When you have been betrayed or hurt we need discerment to know when and if we can trust this person again. If we choose that, and we do want to build trust in a relationship again then there has to be a mutual understanding between two parties for trust to grow. If that understanding is there then we can break the bands that hold us hostage. Our bodies are absolutley incredible that we are able to feel so many different emotions. When we do feel grateful there are two hormones that are release and those are Dopamine and Seratonin. These are the feel good emotions. We often associate these hormones with negative things such as social media, tv, etc but when we can turn those into a positive then those hormones can help us feel joy, and ultimately help us feel that confident quiet peace that we all long for.
