Welcome to One Day Closer with Mark and Dave, where we are TESTIFYING TODAY that God DOES rekindle a spirit of Hope and Truth when we make our requests know to Him. Today’s show was inspired AND is a true story of both heartache and victory, shared with my wife and I from some very close friends of ours. As is our custom here at One Day Closer, I asked if I could share their story with our audience, as I thought it was a story many would be able to identify with and draw peace from. I promised them both that I would protect the names and identities of both the innocent and the not so innocent characters of the story. I even sketched this dialogue out and ran it by them both to make sure I captured their story as accurately as possible… and with that, I received permission to share their story. A story full of drama, the duties and challenges of caring for our aging parents, interacting with previous estranged siblings, tough decisions about when to step aside or not, how to execute the right next best decision, etc. Tough stuff that we can all identify with, or that we will eventually be faced with. Here’s the net out or take away from pondering this testimony for over a week. Sometimes you have to ignore or disregard, the negative thoughts seeded by negative naysayers, and just trust God to show up and deliver the peace we all seek. You have to trust that God WILL move on your behalf…once you take a few a steps to do the right thing…in faith…AND when you experience a blessing from God… that’s always worthy of sharing …either alone to the urinal or with a total stranger…don’t miss the opportunity to share the story forward. God can bless that exchange as well…AND He can put a cherry on top of that sweet moment just for fun. Here’s what I mean. After the plates were cleared from a wonderful dinner-story with Glen and Barb, and we all pass on the dessert menu, Glen finishes their story with this. “Dave this is the best part. So while Barb was still visiting with her mom for the second time…somewhere around the hour and a-half mark, I was thanking God for a second successful visit between my wife and her mother…I told God that the only thing that would make this trip better was to move mom to want to see me…the devil…even if it was just for a moment. An hour later… that is exactly what happened . When Barb exited the building she waved me out of the car. Mom then came out of the doorway, gave me a smile and I gave her a hug. I thanked her for seeing her daughter and she thanked me for bringing her down to visit. BAMM! Dave this trip was all about Barb and her mother…but God gave me something special as well.” Send us a text…
This past Monday, Mark shared some enlightening news regarding Artificial Intelligence. I hope you listened to that show because it showcased a host of scams that are at play with this technology…scams that could wipe out your or your parents bank accounts simply because you or they didn’t know any better. Whether you like it or not, AI is here to stay. It should be noted from Marks show on the topic of AI, is that few CEO’s of AI companies are focused on “AI Guard Rails” to protect the public. Which leaves us…the users of technology…to fend for ourselves. Several of the clips Mark shared in episode 260 on AI showcased how the technology is being used to create video messages that appear to be your son or daughter in a tough spot, or held captive in a dark and scary room…telling you in their own voice…that they are in trouble and they need you to send money straight away. The video looks like your son or daughter and their voice certainly sounds like them, but it’s fake. So how can you discern whether the message is real or not? Here’s our first TIP from a loyal and fellow listener of One Day Closer. He suggested creating a SAFE word and a DANGER word. This could be established with your kids as well as your parents or grandparents. The idea is a simple one but can be very effective. We’ve all seen an FBI show or a movie where someone goes under cover to infiltrate a mob Gand or a smuggling operation. The person undercover is usually wearing a wire and their colleagues in the van outside are listening closely for either the SAFE word or the DANGER (my covers been blown) word, which serves to deploy the calvery, breach the building and “get me out of here!” Most of us normal folks don’t have these occupations and hence don’t need to think like this right? Think again. Let’s say you get a video message. Your daughter is leaving you a desperate video message for help or money, but in her message she DOES NOT use the DANGER word or phrase. You’ll know right away that that is a scam, especially if you make it very clear from the start with your loved ones…why having this discussion about CODED Safe and Danger words is important. If they don’t use them…you will NOT be taking any action on their behalf. Here’s a Universal Hand Signal for someone needing help. 5-4-0 It was developed several years ago but not everyone may know what it is. It was designed to help someone communicate without speaking, that they are in trouble, being abducted and need help. Most recently, I’ve seen commercials showing how this hand signal can be used by an abductee. The commercial shows a guy walking down a busy street holding the gals arm (obviously to keep her from running away). This leaves her other arm free to touch or slightly bump others as they walk by in the opposite direct. Once the abducted gal bumps you to get your attention to look back at her, she displays the following hand signal behind the abductors back. 5 = A full open Hand; followed by the number 4 = four fingers; followed by a closed fist. 5-4-0. This is the universal hand signal for someone asking for help. Teach this to your kids. If they do this enough when being abducted or they loose their voice, this simple hand signal could save their life. I hope you had a great week and that you had a chance to listen to Mondays show entitled “The 12 Day War: One Historic Week of Leadership on Display.” The inevitable Israeli / Iran war that for 50 years, had all nations fearing that a major conflict between these two, would usher in the beginning of the end for all mankind. Instead it brought an abrupt end to Irans nuclear missile ambitions in just 12 days. The alliance and coordination between two great allies, Israel and America, showcased the military might of both nations, as well as, the bravery, courage and commitment of two great leaders, Prime Minister Bibi Nethenyahu and President Trump. American competence was on full display and her execution was flawless. The citizens of both Israel and American should be very proud of what these two men orchestrated to bring peace and security to the Middle-east. Well today is July 4th. Independence Day in America! Did you know that more than 150 countries celebrate an Independence Day around the globe? Independence Day, is a federal holiday that commemorates the signing of the Declaration of Independence of the United States on July 4, 1776. It’s historically significant because the Continental Congress declared the 13 American colonies no longer were subject to the British monarch. But the cost for this Independence would be high. A revolution against our oppressor, Great Britain would be required. The Americans had no standing army at the outbreak of the Revolutionary War. The American Revolutionary Soldiers came from the 13 colonies who had relied upon the local militia, made up of part time citizen-soldiers, for local defense. There were 2.5 million colonists during the Revolutionary War period The British Army had many advantages over the American Army: •The British Army had a well established, experienced, standing army - the American Army did not •The British Army had a well established navy - the American Army did not •The British Army had ample quantities of powder, guns, and clothing - the American Army did not •The British Army were well disciplined and trained - the American Army was not. A total of 25,000 Americans died during the Revolutionary war. 9000 American soldiers suffered serious wounds and injuries The initial cost or downpayment if you will was paid by the actions taken and lives sacrificed during the lengthy and expensive American Revolutionary War. The level of devotion committed to such a cause as freedom and self (but unified) government that was promised to ALL men united in the cause was astonishing. The courage, the strength, the stamina to carry on despite the setbacks, loss and growing costs is almost unfathomable to ponder. It represents people’s efforts to earn and keep freedom , and that’s a struggle that continues to this day. But more importantly, we need to remember all the sacrifices that went into the earned celebration of our Independence , and those that offered their last full measure, their own blood and treasure , must not be forgotten or taken for granted. The 25,000 citizen-soldiers of the Revolutionary War, plus those that have defended this nation, our values and core tenets over the decades that followed. It’s a day to be grateful…but not just for the day or until the last barrage of fireworks light up the sky, but everyday! Left unattended, under-appreciated and not protected, will certainly lead to its demise. The very essence and meaning of independence and freedom deteriorates over time…IF WE THE PEOPLE DON’T CONTINUE TO DEFEND THE CORE TENETS OF OUR FOUNDING. Have you heard? These three simple words grabs attention better than most when starting a discussion. We humans love…dare I say…crave, gossip or more mildly stated, are very open to new intel. We love a good story. The kids today have an acronym for this…it called FOMO…the Fear Of Missing Out, and none of us want to miss out on something. If I said, “danger Will Robinson” these three words would suggest a WARNING might follow. If I said “back off Jack,” you might perceive it as a THREAT. And if I said “Make America Great Again,” many would be triggered and their TDS would flare up and their face would turn red as their veins begin to pop out of their head. But a question like “have you heard,” is a harmless one, not a threat or a warning…but a question that is most often, well received (without insight or context as to what might follow). My objective is to share a few “communication strategies” or techniques to help us all communicate better by being more thoughtful and prepared as we engage with people (both strangers or casual acquaintances and with those we actually know a bit better). In a word this show is about TESTIFYING. But don’t let that word scare you. I’m not talking about WITNESSING or PREACHING to your neighbor or trying to convert the struggling stranger to a Faith worthy of following. I’m talking about farming. You heard me right…FARMING. The simple, but intentional, act of planting a seed of hope or encouragement, a word of peace or a display of sincere compassion… that sticks with people …long after the discussion or encounter is over. Image what the apostles struggled with when they finally ventured out into the many nations to begin their ministry. There was no advanced marketing or promotion campaign announcing their “coming soon” arrival. There was no institution behind the scenes supporting them, no handouts or preprinted leaflets…to pass out once they got there. It was just them. At first, maybe as a group…but later…they went out two by two…and even later…each took on their own region or nation. They entered a strangle land, with little to no knowledge of the nations or regions they would visit to spread the word of Christs life, death and resurrection. They would have had little insight into the faiths, beliefs, laws, and customs of the many people they would be engaging with. Imagine heading to a distant land, far from Jerusalem or Galilee and engaging with a total stranger and say…”Have You Heard…of Jesus the Christ from Galilee?” What a brilliant way to open a conversation…with three simple words…”Have you heard?” They didn’t “spread” the word with opening statements like “Repent you filthy Sinner” or “you’re all going to hell because you don’t know Jesus.” They weren’t preaching repentance. They were sharing Good News. In a word they were “testifying.” Simply telling a story of an incredible man, teacher and healer of men. Today we might describe him as a major Influencer on social media. But how many total strangers would have been moved to ponder their lot in life if the story was only about a wise and insightful rabbi or teacher from some distant land? I’m guessing it was the stories of healings, miracle’s and the personal eye witness accounts of these supernatural events that were most rememberable to listeners, total strangers. YOUR GIFT is YOUR STORY! YOUR MESS can be YOUR MESSAGE. And it doesn’t have to be long or all inclusive. Remember, initially we are simply FARMING. Simply dropping seeds. But what kind of seeds are we planting? That depends on the soil. Does it get a lot of moisture or full sun? So there’s a little bit of THOUGHT put in to HOW you will perform your work. Today we will present and discuss a boat load of questions regarding the Israel / Iran war. You do not want to miss this episode...especially the last 10 minutes of the show. Does Mark and Dave think we should drop the MOAB on the nuclear facility? How does this look for the Suni/Shia conflict? Is Iran really our enemy? What have they done to us? What are the consequences? Will Iran attack US troops in the desert? What might this mean for terror cells in America? Global economic effects like oil prices? All out kinetic war? If there is going to be forever peace, the leaders of the ideology (the mullahs) must be wiped out. That's the root of the problem, the Shiite ideology. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu maintained that the Jewish State possesses the capability to strike all of Iran’s nuclear installations — including the highly fortified Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, located “half a mile beneath a mountain” — without offensive U.S. intervention. In an article from Jennifer Griffin of Fox News…she’s a national security correspondent…she writes… "President Donald Trump came back into office promising no new wars. So far, he’s kept that promise. But he’s also left much of Washington — and many of America’s allies — confused by a series of rapid, unexpected moves across the Middle East." "In just a few months, Trump has reopened backchannels with Iran, then turned around and threatened its regime with collapse. He’s kept Israel at arm’s length — skipping it on his regional tour — before signaling support once again. He lifted U.S. sanctions on Syria’s Islamist leader, a figure long treated as untouchable in Washington. And he made headlines by hosting Pakistan’s top general at the White House, even as India publicly objected." " For those watching closely, it’s been hard to pin down a clear doctrine. Critics see improvisation — sometimes even contradiction." " But step back, and a pattern begins to emerge. It’s not about ideology, democracy promotion, or traditional alliances. It’s about access. Geography. Trade." "More specifically, it may be about restarting a long-stalled infrastructure project meant to bypass China — and put the United States back at the center of a strategic economic corridor stretching from India to Europe." Remember the summer of Love in 2020 when disgruntled college students, BLM and Antifa held “peaceful protests,” according to left leaning media, in the streets while buildings behind the field reporter were engulfed in flames? Remember, Portland, OR and the new city of Chaz? Over 2 Billion in damages! Well here we go again. It started 7 days ago in Los Angeles and has already spread to other sanctuary cities like, NYC, Atlanta, Chicago and Denver. One report said 21 cities are planning more chaos over the weekend. The Chicago Mayor Brown urged people in Chicago to “resist.” No reference to peacefully let your voices be heard…but RESIST! This guy should be arrested for insurrection! LA history is repeating itself. 1992 they had the Rodney King Riots…also out of control and violent. Here’s what’s different. This time it’s a bonafide invasion and insurrection lead mostly by illegal invaders of our border. Theses are not disgruntled college kids….these are bonafide criminals and noncitizens…combatants from foreign countries that are being feed and funded by the radical left…from NGOs, Soros, and institutions we’ve funded with our tax dollars and encouraged by radical left politicians that continue to promote the chaos. One Day Closer Solutions: When rioters break into a department store, Apple Store, a pharmacy, a Nike store or whatever, instead of trying to tackle the perpetrators as they exit the store, law enforcement should chain the exits shut, locking the guilty inside the store. Use the ventilation system to administer a sleeping agent. Once the perpetrators are fast asleep, THEN enter the facility, take pictures of the perps with their stolen goods as evidence, then zip tie every one of them and when they wake up, they find them selves in Gitmo! For those unruly in the street, after multiple warnings to disburse, use bull dozers to coral them and again drop a sleeping agent over the crowd instead of using flash bangs or tear gas. Again, when they wake up, they’ll be in Gitmo. These are two safe and human solutions to avoid escalation in the street, is safer for our law enforcement and once housed at Gitmo, it makes it easier to separate the chaft from the tarnished wheat. But today, I’m asking the question, Can we be happy (defined in my mind as joyfully content) standing on the phrase “in Gods Timing.” Said differently, when we become frustrated…waiting for prayers to be answered or maybe confirmation from God that we ARE on the right track…even though we see little progress…and become more discontent with “Gods Timing,” WHAT are we to do with that? WHY does it seem sometimes as though God’s POWER is absent in our lives? Is it possible to find happiness, peace, contentment, joy and fulfillment in Gods Timing? This “in Gods Timing” phrase is a tricky subject. Why is it we tend to be the happiest only in the successes, the promotions, the raises and accomplishments…when we’ve reached the summit, if you will…but struggle to stay fully content and even exuberant in the valleys. Do we really need a miracle everyday to stay euphorically high (that state of intense excitement and happiness), content, engaged and motivated? Why is it often difficult to remain euphoric between the high points in our lives? When life is on auto pilot if you will, or on cruise control, boring and mundane? I ask this question too many times in my own life…and often voice my frustration to God, not “WITH GOD” but certainly “TO GOD.” “I’m doing my part…I’m executing my calling the best I know how…so why are you opting not to increase it…to demonstrate that you are indeed behind this initiative…confirm that I’m on the right path…doing the right thing”? Personally, I think it’s okay to have these direct and blunt discussions with God. Especially, when our objective is NOT to blame God or simply complain without cause…but when we are sincerely asking for clarity, confirmation and engagement. When we are seriously seeking direction, feedback and input, I think God is okay (maybe the better word would be tolerant) with us in our quest for direction. I thought it might be fun listen to a saga tale riddled with intrigue, conflict, struggle, as well as, insight, wisdom and epic life lessons, the epic tale of Captain Hook vs Peter Pan. Released in 1991, Hook is an American fantasy adventure firm, directed by Stephen Spielberg. It stars Robin Williams as Peter Pan, Dustin Hoffman as Captain Hook, Julia Roberts as Tinker Bell, and Maggie Smith as Granny Wendy. The movie opens with a visual of an adult Peter Pan (Peter Banning), who has forgotten his childhood due to his high-powered career as a corporate takeover lawyer. As an adult, Banning is a stressed out, over worked, miserable shell of a man that is trapped in the endless pursuit of something…that cannot be secured while enslaved to the trappings of his career. But when his old archenemy, Captain Hook, kidnaps his children, Banning must return to Neverland to save them. Tinker Bell appears to Banning, reminds him of who he was, sprinkles him with Pixie Dust and carries him away to Neverland, a mystical island accessible by flying past the "second star to the right, and straight on till morning". When he awakes from the journey, he finds himself completely out of place, still dressed in his tux from the night before, surrounded by pirates. His daughter Maggie is suspended in a cage from the main mass, as Captain Hook boasts that he has captured Peter Pans kids. Banning screams out…”those are my kids!” Hook can’t believe his eyes. “You’re not Peter Pan!” But Tinker Bell confronts Hook and negotiates a three day reprieve to get Banning (Peter Pan) back into shape and prepared for the final battle between Hook and Pan. She takes him to the hideout of the Lost Boys and explains to the Lost Boys that this really is the PAN …that they need to rally and get him in shape for the battle in three days! The Lost Boys will have to “see” that their former leader PAN is somewhere inside this “grumpy old grampa man.” They’ll need to teach him again how to “crow” and how to “fly.” They’ll need to help him “imagine” the possibilities first, and help him find his “Happy Thoughts.” Without his “happy thoughts” Pan will never be able to “fly” and without “flight” he’ll never prevail over Hook. So what do we glean from this story? In the midst of doing life, things happen. Disasters come. Trials manifest out of thin air often during our most vulnerable times…when our plate is already full, when we are already jugging more than we can handle and when we least expect it. This describes Banning’s situation to a tee. These challenges, whatever they may be, affect everyone around you…your souse, your kids, your co-workers, and friends. Nonetheless…we have no choice but to accept the situation, adjust accordingly and engage. There will be characters in the midst of the drama that are FOR you …they know WHO YOU ARE …and they know WHAT YOU ARE CAPABLE OF (like Granny Wendy, Tinker Bell and eventually the Lost Boys). They BELIEVE in you …even when you don’t believe in yourself. Pans strength didn’t come from losing weight in three days or from his muscles or physical abilities. It was his mental strength…his renewed perspective of WHO HE WAS long ago and WHAT COULD BE AGIAN…SIMPLY BY CHANGING HIS ATTITUDE…to BELIEVE IN HAPPINESS and then PURSUE TO THE END…that made PETER PAN…PAN THE MAN! Who was Granny Wendy? Could Granny Wendy have represented God the creator, who cared for all the orphans? Who encouraged them day and night? And who was Peter Pan? Was he “lost” as the leader of the Lost Boys many years prior to growing up, or did he loose his way in his adult years? Send us a text…
Hopefully you are at least aware on news stories questioning Joe Biden’s use of the AutoPen which is an auto signature, meaning anyone with access to this app, could sign for Joe on Executive Orders, Legislation, Pardons or on any correspondence, both physical or digital. The reporting of this app raised a host of legitimate questions. Initially the questions were simply inquisitive in nature but built up to be more invasive as to who was authorized to use this app on Joe’s behalf? Should we know who this person was or group of people were? Does this auto signature require verification from a notary to ensure there’s no monkey business going on? Was his health and handwriting so bad that he simply couldn't sign these documents himself or was there a more sinister plan in motion? Chris Salcedo, host of the Chris Salcedo Show on NEWSMAX interviewed a gentlemen the other day that has the street cred, if you will, to shed some light on this topic…and did just that on National TV to over 20 million viewers of the NEWSMAX family. His name is Mike McCormick, who has served as the White House Stenographer for THREE PRESIDENTS. So one would think Mr. McCormick might have the credentials and first-hand insight into who might have had access to the controls behind the curtain in the Land of Oz. Real names assigned to a cast of characters in this tragic tale that may have, collaboratively or individually, played a significant role in a Cabal to mislead the American people. Wikipedia defines a cabal as "a group of people who are united in some close design, usually to promote their private views or interests in an ideology, a state , or another community, often by intrigue and usually without the knowledge of those who are outside their group." McCormick makes the bold accusation that RON KLAIN was the master ORCHESTRATOR behind the "PLAN-DEMIC" starting back in 2011. According to McCormick, KLAIN learned how to politicize pandemics in 2014 and launched this plan in 2019, unleashing a global pandemic on the world just to get Joe into the White House. Now that’s a bonafide conspiracy theory on steroids…that if even partially accurate…would serve as the cherry on top of this Great American CON the left have been serving up over the past 8 plus years. Consider for a moment the thought process behind the curtain. They’ve researched how to deploy a pandemic and then they wait. When Trump takes office in his first term the fuse is lit. Within the first ten minutes, the Sergeant at Arms was called into service to remove Representative Al Green, Democrat from TX. According to a CBS poll, 76% said they approved of Green, being removed from the chamber after disrupting the president's speech. Finally. Adults are in charge of the nursery! Children democrats with their paddles wouldn’t stand up for ANY of the American accomplishments Trump rattled off. It’s pathetic. If I was a democrat watching NOT ONE of my representatives stand for many of Americas accomplishments I would leave that immature body of children. I would be embarrassed to be affiliated with them. Here’s what I hope democrats at home saw from the party that represents them. NOT ONE Democrat demonstrated they had an independent backbone. NOT ONE had the nerve to break from the herd and stand up to acknowledge the pain, loss or accomplishments of fellow Americans that were recognized as Trumps guest. Not the Laken Riley family, the Comperatore family who lost their dad in Pennsylvania, not the steel worker that has foster over 40 kids, and not even the 13 year old kid fighting brain cancer! Individually they couldn’t recognize these survivors…because the herd would kill them politically if they did. Proving they are only interested in personal political survival…not what’s right for the country. They say they are fighting for the democracy….but a true and healthy democracy isn’t divided like this! This divide proves that democrat politicians don’t work for their constituents…they can’t even recognize and applaud the kids cancer fight!!! They work for the party bosses. NOT ONE stood up nor stood out as one having a heart or a brain. Not one leader amongst them with a heart, a brain or a backbone. 1 E 226: Something Significant is Missing from the Jewish and Islamic Faiths that could Bring the Peace We Seek - Part 5 Conclusions 44:00
I hope you have learned a few things about the Abrahamic Religions that you didn’t know before. Today we will present our conclusions to this study. Christianity places, defines and holds a significant, life changing Tenet that Jews and Muslims do not acknowledge nor revere. That difference is the Life, Work, Teachings and Examples of Christ Jesus, for all Faiths to ponder and accept AS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS! A REDEEMER! WITHOUT A REDEEMER, none of us are worthy to enter the Kingdom of God. Jews nor Muslims recognize that their God sent His Son to stand in the gap for our failure to understand the core tenet of the Creator, (“Love your neighbor as yourself”). The price he paid, as a man, as a rabbi, a prophet …IN DEATH…was not HIS PUNISHMENT for living…BUT OURS! His willingness to submit (to the will of God our Father) and suffer crucifixion, WAS TO PAY FOR ALL OF OUR PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE SINS, NOT HIS! He healed and restored many during his ministry, but the Jewish leaders couldn’t accept it. They saw prophecy fulfilled but did not want to acknowledge it, and they witnessed many miracles…yet they see no need for salvation, have no concept of Original Sin (as defined in the first book of their Torah!?) They have no need for “miracles”, yet they WAIT FOR A MESSIAH to make all things right?! Do they not see that Jehovah has been protecting them prior to 1947? How have they survived this long? How do they describe their iron dome? Is that not a miracle in itself? Muslims do not believe in “Original Sin” either. They believe that no one can bear the sin of anyone else, or redeem him with his own self. The Prophet Muhammad proclaimed that redemption and damnation are individual and everyone is his own redeemer for he bears within his heart all possibilities of spiritual success or failure. How can “everyone be their own redeemer” IF NO ONE CAN BEAR THE SIN OF ANYONE ELSE including himself? Both statements cannot be true at the same time! What if I told you that Allah has already GIFTED YOU MERCY!! You can have it NOW…ahead of Paradise! It’s yours to ACCEPT or REJECT. If you accept His GIFT and follow Him, you will see Heaven. If you reject His gift, you’ve rejected Heaven. As a Christian, IF everything I HOLD as Scriptural…and follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, and pursue it with abandon, with passion, sincerity, love and compassion for ALL PEOPLE...and in the end…we learn that my choosing to follow Christ was RIGHT…my DESTINY and ENTRY INTO PARADISE is GUARANTEED! Also, if I failed to understand something, something we’ve defined as “less significant things” (like a ritual or a man made law), but LOVE others as instructed … I LOSE NOTHING! If you as a Muslim or Jew, in the end, are found to have misinterpreted the SIGNIFICANCE OF CHRIST AS YOUR REPRESENTATIVE REDEEMER…your ETERNITY will be NOTHING CLOSE TO PARADISE. But if a misguided Jew or Muslim is wrong…you lose EVERYTHING! No PARADISE. No PEACE. No REST. No HEAVENLY KINGDOM to come! That connection is through HIS SON, Jesus, who paid your DEBT and ENTRY FEE into Heaven…IN FULL at the CROSS! IT CANNOT BE EARNED or WORKED OFF! IT WAS AND REMAINS - A GIFT. Today we will take a closer look into who the Sunni’s and Shia are in Islam. Mark and I believe, along with a host of scholars, that we are currently living in HISTORIC and BIBLICAL TIMES in 2025 and it’s important to understand who the Middle Eastern players are and what is their story, so that we can get up to speed in understanding the significance of what’s coming. In the Middle East, Muslims of Islam divided into territories initially by tribes. Borders were fought over and today most have settled their land, their borders and have both striving and thriving economies. Within the Islamic Religion, there lies another conflict that remains unresolved due to disagreements as to whom should have been Muhammad’s successor. Though the two main sects within Islam , Sunni and the Shities or Shia, agree on most of the fundamental beliefs and practices of Islam, a bitter split between the two goes back some 14 centuries . The divide originated with a dispute over who should succeed the Prophet Muhammad as leader of the Islamic faith he introduced. Today, about 85 percent of the approximately 2 billion Muslims around the world are Sunni, while 15 percent are Shia. Shia represent the majority of the population in Iran , Iraq, Bahrain and Azerbaijan and a plurality in Lebanon. Sunnis are the majority in more than 40 other countries, from Morocco to Indonesia. Despite their differences, Sunni and Shia have lived alongside each other in relative peace for most of history. But starting in the late 20th century, the schism deepened, exploding into violence in many parts of the Middle East as extreme brands of Sunni and Shia Islam battle for both religious and political supremacy. “The essence of the problem is that Muhammad died without a male heir, and he never clearly stated who he would want to be his successor,” says Lesley Hazleton, author of After the Prophet: The Epic Story of the Sunni-Shia Split in Islam . “This was important, because by the time he died, he had basically brought all the tribes of Arabia together into a kind of confederation that became the ummah—the people or nation of Islam.” Sunni-Shia divisions would fuel a long-running civil war in Syria , fighting in Lebanon, Iran, Iraq, Yemen and elsewhere, and terrorist violence on both sides. A common thread in most of these conflicts is the ongoing battle between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shia Iran for influence in the oil-rich Middle East and surrounding regions. Until non-radicalized, moderate or mainstream peacekeeping Muslims, both followers and Imams, stand up and explain their faith to the rest of us and hold their radicals to account…things will not get better. I hope you have been enjoying this series. Today we’ll start tallying up our Tenets and address the questions we've been posing along the way. There is something Gods people, the collective children of the world, haven’t learned yet, and until we do, there will be conflict and struggle for all of us, that should NOT EXIST!! I would like to believe that IT IS POSSIBLE that WE ALL could agree, that the essence, the mission and purpose, for ALL walks of Faith, is the nurturing and promotion of LOVE as defined in 1 Corinthians 13, regardless of who said it. Look at 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 “If I speak with the tongues of men..., but do not have love , I have become a noisy gong...; and if I have all faith..., but do not have love , I am nothing . Said differently, “if I have all the Faith (all the Faith my Faith teaches), but do not show love, I am nothing! If you have adopted a Faith of your culture, upbringing or individual conviction, but do not share love to others outside of your Faith, your Faith, your religion, your prophet and your conviction is WORTHLESS! In Summary, what can we agree on. That we all were created by an Almighty, omnipresent, omniscient, universal and transcendent CREATOR That He and HE ALONE brings life, gives instruction as to how to live a moral and upright life and hope in a life after That without a DIVINE PROVIDENCE working through each of us, a meaningful and purposeful life is impossible That IF someone believes differently than us, its NOT our job to convert them or judge them but to at least, love them That without LOVE we ARE NOTHING . Period. Our life is nothing, our land and where we live…means nothing, our believed inheritance means nothing…and our DEVOTION TO OUR FAITH means NOTHING (according to 1 Corinthians 13.) What then, becomes subservient to the “AGREED ON” TENETS? That eating habits or legalistic dietary laws, could be practiced or not practiced by anyone that opts in, without judgement of others That continual fighting over former inheritance claims to lands is NOT A WAY TO HEAVEN or PARADISE for believers today That any and all currently shared HOLY GROUNDS should and must remain revered and protected HOLY GROUND … SHARED by ALL That Scriptures or teachings that are unique to your Faith, must not claim dominance or superiority over other Faiths NONE OF US ARE BETTER THAN THE OTHER! We all fall short of the glory of God. If you believe otherwise, you should be held back. Judaism does not target or seek out the uncircumcised for persecution, execution or extinction. Specifically, Israel is not trying to conquer new lands or overthrow another Faith. “You have been severed from Christ, (God), you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. (Here we have a WARNING for all Faiths). For we through the Spirit (spirit of Yahweh, Allah, or Christ), by faith, are waiting for the hope of righteousness.” Galatians 5:4-5 “For the whole Law is fulfilled in one word, in the statement, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”” (All faiths should be able to accept this statement). Today, we will be digging deeper into these different Faiths, the significance of Jerusalem and what each Faith deems to be their HOLY LAND and why. Jewish theology is unitarian. In Judaism, the one God of Israel is the God of Abraham, Isaac , and Jacob , delivered Israel from slavery in Egypt , and gave them the 613 Mitzvot at Mount Sinai as described in the Torah . Jewish tradition claims that the Twelve Tribes of Israel are descended from Abraham through his son Isaac (Isaac first appears in the Torah , in which he is the son of Abraham and Sarah , the father of Jacob and Esau , and the grandfather of the twelve tribes of Israel .) In contrast, Islamic tradition claims that twelve Arab tribes known as the Ishmaelites are descended from Abraham through his son Ishmael in the Arabian Peninsula. ( Ismael ) was the first son of Abraham . His mother was Hagar , the handmaiden of Abraham's wife Sarah .) Jerusalem is considered Judaism's holiest city . Its origins can be dated to 1004 BCE,when according to Biblical tradition David established it as the capital of the United Kingdom of Israel, and his son, Solomon built the First Temple on Mount Moriah . Since the Hebrew Bible relates that Isaac's sacrifice took place there, Mount Moriah's importance for Jews predates even these prominent events. According to the New Testament , Jerusalem was the city Jesus was brought to as a child to be presented at the temple, and for the feast of the Passover . He preached and healed in Jerusalem, drove the money changers from the temple there, held the Last Supper in an "upper room" there the night before he was crucified on the cross and was arrested in Gethsemane . 1 E 222: The Differences and Similarities between the Three Abrahamic Religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam 23:49
Today, we will be launching a multi-part series into the differences and similarities between the three Abrahamic Religions of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. This study hopes to identify insights into how can we all (all people of God and all people of Faith) co-exist in Peace. WHAT principles, doctrines and human morality DO OUR FAITHS SHARE and leave everything else off to the side. The Abrahamic religions are a grouping of three major religions that revere Abraham in their scripture. These religions are Judaism , Christianity , and Islam . Abrahamic religions make up the largest total number of adherents. Christianity and Islam comprise the largest and second-largest religious movements in the world, respectively. According to 2024 estimates, there are 2.4 billion Christians in the world, 2 billion followers of Islam and 16 million Jewish followers. My reasoning for focusing of the three Abrahamic faiths, versus others…is simple. These are three that seem to fight over everything. Why does God, Yahweh, and Allah, differ so radically within each of these Faiths? To begin, we need to first ask, what do we, all faiths, share in common AND where do we differ? Is it possible that even today, the story of Babel has yet to conclude? Are we still all living in Babel? Purposely and divinely still unable to communicate and if so…why? Even though all three revere Abraham as significant to their faith, there are significant differences. For example, the common Christian doctrines of Jesus' Incarnation , the Trinity , and the resurrection of Jesus , are NOT ACCEPTED in Judaism nor Islam. While Judaism and Islam acknowledges and mentions Jesus in their scriptures, they DO NOT revere Jesus as anything more than a prophet. He is not the Messiah and He is not the Son of God. Why is understanding this important? Today, in the daily discussion of 2025, in every nation regardless of stated or written doctrines, the concept that there is a separation of Church and State is NOT practiced. Religious beliefs are deeply untwined in and inseparable in geopolitics. Until all nations and faiths can learn to coexist peacefully, we ALL suffer falling short of what God the Creator intended for ALL his people! All Abrahamic religions accept the tradition that God revealed himself to the patriarch Abraham. All of them are monotheistic , ( meaning worshiping an Exclusive God ), although one who is known by different names. Polytheism Is a belief in or worship of more than one God. In context, Christians are Polytheistic because they adopt the concept and relationship of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit . Today, as a follow-on to Fridays discussion, I want to highlight a REAL and LIVING example of a confident, courageous leader, that everyone on the plant recognizes. You’ll recall we were exploring a few questions, we all face in life as we pursue our dreams. Are we legit? Are we competent, are we authentic, are we effective in what we pursue, are we confident in ourselves to deliver and lastly, is God with us in our pursuits. So before I introduce this individual, I want to establish that this person, is legit…they have a record of accomplishment, a string of setbacks and an enormous amount of courage, tenacity, stamina and commitment. This person has been both admired and respected by people on the left and right. Let me introduce you to Donald J Trump. A living and real man of action, a clear and present example of a confident man, full of courage that any rational person would have to admire…for his dedication, strength under fire, his unwavering pursuit of justice and common sense with a vision for all people of every color, class or status. His willingness to enter the arena is reason enough to respect and admire his willingness to step up and engage. I’ll prove that statement right now. If you had Trumps money, his businesses, his freedom to do whatever he wanted, would you put your life on pause to “volunteer” to serve the nation knowing you would be persecuted at every turn. Be honest….ill bet the answer was no. Sometimes people fear things they don’t understand. They may feel threatened. ”I’m just not sure about this guy, I don’t know his intentions, and so I don’t trust him. Period.” That’s the extent of their research. Others feared his influence and worried that his success might rob them of power over the people or at the very least, might expose their incompetence to think outside of the box in governing this country. They hounded him while in office and pursed him with a vengeance for four years even after he left office…knowing that he may return…and they couldn’t have that. And return he did. Most would not have. Most would have crumbled under the weight and constant abuse sent his way. That is in a word, remarkable! Before Trump maybe even “unimaginable.” Who could bear it? Who would want it? What attributes of honorable qualities or character, examples if you will in the Bible, would God desire and honor. With an eye on comparing both rhetoric and actions taken (or not taken), helped me see the cost Trump paid, the art of his style, his reasoning behind many of the things he said…simply to get a reaction. Many of them were “fire for effect” targeting…to expose the enemy…to cause them to emerge from the darkness and into the light of day…so that all of us could finally see the corruption and hypocrisy. What is the most important skillset a leader must have to lead? Go ahead…I’ll wait. Did you say vision? Passion? A horse maybe? I think the most important skillset is the ability to communicate. If you have a vision but can’t communicate it you have nothing. No one will follow you. Likewise if you have an awesome white stead, 14 hands high, but cannot communicate where you’re going and encourage folks to join you, you’ll be riding off into the sunset alone. Here’s the point. Trump is communicating to anyone and everyone that will listen…and those abroad ARE LISTENING AND REACTING. Talk about courageous, bold, confident, visionary, motivated, passionate, unwavering, opportunistic and welcoming to even our enemies. Mark and I both attend the same church and the past few weeks we’ve been lead in a series on Courage, that we thought was worth sharing. According to many pundits, educators and corporate titans there is a serious Crisis of Courage in our younger generation. Apparently, there is a lack of creativity, inspiration or motivation to stand out and excel in the workplace. Which led me to ask the question - WHY? It would be easy to blame our education system, both high schools and higher learning institutions like the universities, but that wouldn’t cover the Tradecraft industry, which is also short of wannabe apprentices. So I dug deeper in search of the root question, or group of questions that might give us insight into how to help the next generation course correct. Is it because they haven’t been given an example to follow ? Is it because they haven’t found a hill worth conquering ? Do they lack a vision or dream worthy of pursuing? Do they lack the motivation or passion to even start? Or maybe… The experience or knowledge to execute? This introduces a deeper set of questions, which tees up the key message our pastor was sharing. In my opinion, ALL are birthed by lack of CONFIDENCE. So the pastor tees up the message with these questions. Am I legit? Am I Competent? Am I Authentic? Am I Effective? Is God with me or is this just me? In an attempt to answer these questions, let’s refer to what the Bible says. The phrase “Do not fear” appears more than 365 times in the Bible. That’s a lot! And for that phrase to appear that often, implies that there must be a lack of faith or a lack of CONFIDENCE with those the message was given to. Joshua 1:1-9: Moses is dead, that season is OVER. Time to MOVE on and out. Step up…it’s your turn …accept the responsibility and lead. God tells him this TWICE before we get to verse 9. Joshua must have struggled with courage. He lived most of his early life in the shadow of Moses. Five steps to Joshua’s battle Am I legit? He wasn’t Moses, he was his “assistant”. Am I competent? He was promoted from supporter to leader. How can I be authentic? He was the Stewart of the Promise…not the author. How can I be effective? He was called to be faithful and the new leader. Is God with me in this or is this “urging” or “calling” just me? Well God spoke directly to Joshua on this one. Walk in faithful presence. Often we are confronted with doubts, questions or distracting voices and people that simply want to attack or steal our courage and faith, or download their beliefs, agendas or failures onto the next generation as a last ditch effort to “be significant.” Think higher education, anti-whatever-syndrom, protests, etc. Here’s the Pastors Conclusion as to How to prepare to live a life of action: Fuel up for the Journey / What will you need? (A car, gas for the car, a direction, a map, a time line to establish expectations, contingency plans) Commit to showing up. Wrestle long and hard about your idea or calling. Define why it’s a calling and not a bad idea. Do big things in small steps. You’ve heard the saying, How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Define your strategy. Be realistic and be adaptable. Be patient and consistent (practice everyday) Don’t quit in the dip when it gets hard or you get discouraged. Anything and everything WORTH PURSUING WILL BE CHALLENGING And don’t forget the last seven words of CONFIDENCE given to you in Joshua 1 verse 9: “GOD IS WITH YOU, WHEREVER YOU GO” Send us a text…

Sunday is Mother’s Day, and as we prepare this show, the Cardinals were preparing to select the next Pope. We had no idea they would select a Pope this quickly. Neither Mark or I are Catholic, but we thought it might be appropriate to look at both of these events in light of this weekend. The Catholic Church celebrates the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, also known as Mary's birthday, on September 8th. This date was chosen by the Church and is not based on any definitive biblical record of her birth. Tradition holds that she was born to Joachim and Anne, a devout and infertile older couple who prayed for a child. An angel appeared to them, promising them a daughter who would be a pivotal figure in God's plan. I thought this was interesting. An angel appeared to her parents, announcing her birth…and an angel appeared to Mary, announcing the birth of her son Jesus. Would you follow a dream or honor a visitation from an angel that told you…a 13-16 year old that you were going to give birth to the Savior of the world!?! Who could you share that with that wouldn’t lock you up? The earliest New Testament account of Mary is in the epistle to the Galatians , which was written before the gospels . She is referred to as "a woman" and is not named: "But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law" (Galatians 4:4) According to the writer of Luke, Mary was a relative of Elizabeth , wife of the priest Zechariah of the priestly division of Abijah , who was herself part of the lineage of Aaron and so of the Tribe of Levi . Jewish girls were considered marriageable at the age of twelve years and six months. The marriage was preceded by the betrothal, after which the bride legally belonged to the bridegroom, though she did not live with him till about a year later, when the marriage was celebrated. What we do know today is that Mary, like all women, have the unique capacity and gift to bring forth life, and because of this we honor Mothers on Mother’s Day. Not because they are homemakers but because they are family makers . A LITTLE CONCLAVE HISTORY Voting process and the signal of smoke The cardinals vote by secret ballot until a candidate has been selected. One ballot is held on the first day of the papal conclave and four on each subsequent day, two in the morning and two in the afternoon. During each ballot, the cardinal electors write the name of the person they have selected on their individual ballot papers. Last week we covered the sickness of Trump Derangement Syndrome and ran out of time to give the other disease, Media derangement Obsession, "due process." I wasn’t surprised that Wikipedia actually had a definition for TDS, but I was surprised to find a Wik had a definition for MDO. We identified paranoia, hysteria, psychotic, schizophrenia, and violent hatred driven emotions with this disorder. According to WEBSTERS Dictionary - Mental Disorder: “any of a broad range of medical conditions (such as major depression, schizophrenia, obsessive compulsive disorder, or panic disorder ) that are marked primarily by sufficient disorganization of personality, mind, or emotions to impair normal psychological functioning and cause marked distress or disability and that are typically associated with a disruption in normal thinking, feeling, mood, behavior, interpersonal interactions, or daily functioning.” After much discussion, we decided to offer a new name to Wikipedia. Satan Induced Derangement Disorder or SIDD for short, named after the character Sid in Toy Story that abuses and mutilated helpless toys. To the psychiatrist that are currently seeing TDS patients we would suggest to ask your patients to consider the following: Forget the "name" and just consider the man for a moment. ADMIRE the man’s COURAGE…accurately examine his heart, his true and proven intentions, and his actions! His actions are not driven or motivated by greed or world dominance like Hitlers pursuits! He hasn’t gased a nation of innocent people…but has stood up against corruption and greed against the people. Remember the harlot that was to be stoned to death? Christ cooled the heated crowd by saying…”let him who has no sin be the first to throw the stone.” Do you think today, Christ could show up at one of the pro-Palestinian/ anti-Jewish mob events and disband today’s crowds with such a simple statement? Which begs the question…who is the ARSONIST? Who is feeding the FIRE? According to a recent article, the main stream media slaps Trump with 92% negative coverage as his 100th day of his second term approaches. Trump continues to face ‘relentlessly hostile coverage,’ according to Media Research Center. The MRC analyzed ABC’s "World News Tonight," "NBC Nightly News" and "CBS Evening News" from Jan. 20 through April 9 and found 899 stories that discussed President Trump or the Trump administration. The media watchdog group found that 92.2% of the coverage was negative compared to only 7.8% positive. "Yet despite the overwhelming negativity of their coverage, the networks found Trump irresistible as a news subject, at least compared with Biden. From January 20 through April 9, 2017, the networks saturated their newscasts with 1,900 minutes of Trump news; during the same time period this year, we tallied a massive 1,716 minutes of coverage. But in 2021, evening news viewers saw only 726 minutes of Biden coverage during these same weeks, less than half of the airtime devoted to either of the new Trump administrations," Noyes wrote. Today we will take a closer look at two serious diseases, TDS (aka Trump Derangement Syndrome) and MDO (Media Derangement Obsession). Mark and I both have our lab jackets on as we pretend for a moment to be Chief Phycologist Profilers here in the Nut House. According to Wikipedia, Trump derangement syndrome ( TDS ) is a pejorative term used to describe negative reactions to Donald Trump that are perceived to be irrational and to have little regard for Trump's actual policy positions. The term has mainly been used by Trump supporters to discredit criticism of him, as a way of reframing the discussion by suggesting that his opponents are incapable of accurately perceiving the world. The origin of the term is traced to Charles Krauthammer , a conservative political columnist, commentator, and psychiatrist, who coined the phrase Bush derangement syndrome in 2003. That "syndrome" was defined by Krauthammer as "the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies. The first use of the term Trump derangement syndrome may have been by Esther Goldberg in an August 2015 op-ed in The American Spectator . Krauthammer, in an op-ed commented that—in addition to general hysteria about Trump—the "Trump Derangement Syndrome" was the "inability to distinguish between legitimate policy differences and ... signs of psychic pathology". "Media derangement obsession," is a term used to describe the idea that someone is fixated on criticizing or obsessing over a particular political figure. In an article entitled, Think you've got Trump Derangement Syndrome, Psychiatrist reveal that "obsessive" and "violent" symptoms prevail. Dr. Carole Lieberman, a conservative voice known as “America’s psychiatrist,” said, “Trump Derangement Syndrome isn’t just a joke—it’s a legitimate psychological phenomenon. Lieberman said: “TDS causes otherwise logical individuals to become obsessive, paranoid, and even violent at the mere mention of Trump’s name—this level of emotional instability has real-world consequences.” But Dr. Holly Ann Schiff, a Connecticut psychiatrist, pushed back, saying: “It is unlikely that the mere mention of Trump’s name is enough to make people violent.” She said, “Regularly now, my current patients and new referrals are coming in really decompensated and unable to control their emotions due to their hatred and feelings towards Trump, which has a direct negative impact on their mental health and well-being. ” SO LET’S STOP RIGHT THERE. Notice what the good Doctor said: “…current patients and new referrals…unable to control their emotions due to their hatred and feelings…which has a direct negative impact on their mental health…” An inability to control emotions due to HATRED. In a show entitled Trump Tariffs E238, we had a nice pre-Passover Bible lesson in the back half of that show. If you didn’t hear it, you should go back and listen to the latter half of that show. It talks about what was Christ doing leading up to Passover. What was he thinking about? Was he satisfied with his ministry? Did he feel he accomplished everything? Leading up to Passover and his death and resurrection, Jesus wasn’t planning his defense; he was PRESENT in the MOMENT, and not focused on the future. I took this to heart and tried to do the same. This led to pondering ODC and our Show entitled Flood of Emotions, episode 239, about listening to the heart for truth (the voice of the Holy Ghost). ODC is a blessing to listeners, especially when we share biblical truth and insight. 47 countries and over 370 cities is “the” measure I’ve used to define success…and while that on the surface sounds impressive… in my marketing mind…it left me feeling as though we were UNDER PERFORMING… 2.5 years and that’s all we’ve done?? See. Even I can be hard on myself. The truth is…I know we are reaching folks…if it’s only ONE that gets help or turns to God it’s like the story of Jesus leaving the 99 to fetch the ONE lost sheep. Pondering this further I realized that to be “happy” with our “success” I needed to use a different method of measurement. To be HAPPY and CONTENT, I needed to measure things differently. ODC MEETS the call Jesus asks of us…go into all the world (podcast meets that requirement), and teach the word, share what we’ve learned with others, encourage the brokenhearted. So I’m happy to report that after two weeks of pondering things leading up to Passover and post the Holy Week…I believe I’m more content and can now see that I’m in Gods perfect Will for this time. (That’s a real application of the scripture I was blind but now I see). I’ve told myself to Stop feeling as though you are doing nothing or accomplishing little…we are doing Gods work…to “make his power known.” Just thought I would share this honest struggle and epiphany of what I’ve been wrestling with lately. A mini testimony if you will, that highlights five actions : first I had to ponder , then reflect , then surrender and then accept what God was saying (identifying the truth) and finally reject the measurement that maybe the devil was pitching me…that left me discontent. Today, we are going to examine what was happening AFTER the crucifixion and resurrection? What did the next 40 days look like? What were the emotions, thoughts and questions whirling around in the heads of Christ followers, as well as the onlookers, the Pharisees and politicians? No doubt, the weeks following Jesus’ triumphant entry, his arrest, the trials, verdict, and his mysterious resurrection three days post, was filled with many opposing emotions. For Mary, Martha, Lazarus and all the apostles and witnesses present at the rising of Lazarus from the dead, just hours from Passover commencing, the emotions would have moved from deep sadness to jubilant amazement. Jesus had now been arrested and was standing trial . Surely there was much hope that he would prevail…after all He was the great orator, story teller, wise and able to reach the souls of men in debate…He would convince the powers to yield and surrender! Meeting with Pontius Pilate, the Sadducees and Pharisees HE would prove his case! The teachings, the healings and miracles would prove He IS who He says He is. But the initial meeting turned to trials…ridicule, mockery, lashings, denial and silence from his followers (Peter being the first to deny knowing or testifying on Jesus’ behalf.) Even Pilate found no crime in Jesus and gave the people an option. Jesus or Barabbas? “Give us Barabbas” they cried! “Crucify him” they demanded! ( John 18:35, 37-40 ). Hope was vanquished, taken over by despair, fear of what may come next for those that associated with him…and then the crucifixion! It was official. It was finished! Their messiah was not what they had expected. Rejection, abandonment, confusion, regret maybe for the time they had spent following him. What was Saturday like for his followers ? Lots of questions maybe along with many tears. All seemed lost! Whatever each imagined would happen last week was now dashed…a painful memory of what “could have been.” But on Sunday Mary delivers the message…the tomb is empty!! He is risen! He’s meeting us here tonight!! Surely the disciples thought she was delusional, had snapped and deeply overcome with denial! Emotions, questions, and previously held belief in his promises and messages were suspect. Confusion, debate, anger, what next (can I get my boat back, my nets back?), 3 years of lost income…and for what? What happened that evening? Jesus appeared to those in the upper room. This was their first manifestation of Jesus post his crucifixion. But Thomas wasn’t there, so Jesus came by again… eight days later! This was their second manifestation of Christ . In Acts 2:40-41 we read: “And with many other words he solemnly testified and kept on exhorting them, saying, “Be saved from this perverse generation!” So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand souls.” So to those listening that have also shared similar emotions…doubts, fears, disbeliefs, confusion, anxiety, anger or had questions like those we’ve presented we are encouraging you to do this: Accept that Emotions are natural Ponder them deeply, identify why you are having them They may be leading you to deeper revelation Consider the testimonies of those that believe and are following Christ teachings Listen to your heart as you examine them for truth Truth that stirs your heart is the voice of the Holy Spirit, the voice of God It may come with discomfort but if it speaks true to your heart, listen And when you finally accept what is revealed to you, accept Gods grace…forgive yourself and begin a new with Christ at your side Send us a text…

First and foremost, take a chill pill Chicken Little! The lefts Black Monday crash never arrived but boy did we get 75 some nations to reach out and express interest in renegotiating or removing Tariffs on the US! This has proven to be a rather historic week on the Global stage. Doomsayers anticipated that most nations would retaliate against Trumps move to insist on reciprocal tariffs and fair trade. Turns out, his strategy to bring nations to the rebalancing table worked. Trump announces tariffs on most of the world who’ve been treating America like their sugar daddy, except Daddy hasn’t been getting any sugar for himself. So he’s demanding fair and equal tariffs on imports, which means America will now raise many tariffs to the same level as we’ve been paying for decades. World leaders are now beating a path to the Whitehouse for exemptions or to make deals. Some countries like Argentina, Vietnam, and Israel have removed their tariffs on US goods all together. From Jeff Childers: “A few comments. Between this budget package, the stock market, and the global tariffs, progressive “economic experts” have been doom crying about recession and malaise, and prophesying general economic collapse." “But they have no idea what they are talking about. Nobody has ever trieed this kind of radical fiscal surgery on the American economy before. The Four Signpost interpretation is obtained from a non-traditional and literal reading of Daniel 7, Daniel 8, and Revelation 6:1-8. All three passages speak of the same four events. McFarland told " Newsline " that their overriding focus undoubtedly is potential long-range relations. "They're looking ahead to what kind of a relationship they could have going forward. From President Trump's perspective, he would very much like to drive a wedge between the bromance between the Chinese and Russian presidents. He would also probably like to put a wedge between Russia and Iran. Russia is one of Iran's major supporters in this continuing war in the Middle East." McFarland said Putin will be looking to essentially get a fresh start. "He's been out in the cold for 3 1/2 years. He has been a global pariah. His only friends in the global stage are the North Korean president, the Iranian mullahs. And really, you know, [Chinese President] Xi Jinping. That's it. And so President Putin, he really wants back into the club of … global world leaders." McFarland said that's where Trump's diplomatic strategy unfolds. "Only President Trump can give him that. So I think that they're going to have talked about Ukraine. Hopefully, they've agreed to, if not a final agreement, at least an agreement to have another meeting about it. But I think that their real goal for both of them was to look beyond the Ukraine war."
