Stop comparing yourself to other people!⁣ ⁣ I’ve seen this all too often in the streaming space and it’s creating a toxic mindset. ⁣ ⁣ “Why does that person have more followers/ is partnered and I’m not/ has sponsor deals?” You see these types of questions and phrases on social media.⁣ ⁣ You can not compare yourself to anyone. You are unique and have different circumstances and experiences than every human being that ever lived! Your unique perspective is what helps you separate yourself from others in the same domain/industry/business. ⁣ ⁣ I’m imploring you to focus on you and the things you can control. Stop letting the toxicity of comparison hold you back. Embrace your uniqueness and fight those negative thoughts when you catch yourself comparing. ⁣…

My ER Visit 7:38

Wednesday was a bit scary as I had to go to the ER. ⁣ ⁣ I had been feeling chest tightness Tuesday and I was sitting at work this morning when I began to feel it again. I became worried so I called a nurse who informed to go to the ER. She had asked me a bunch of questions all related to the heart but even though it didn’t appear to be classic symptom of a heart attached she told me to go in anyway. ⁣ ⁣ I was definitely worried and feeling very anxious on my way to the hospital as you might guess. The thought that something could be wrong with my heart was daunting enough, but also being stuck in LA traffic just to get there was making it worse.⁣ ⁣ They got me in to see a doctor quickly, did a EKG, took two chest X-rays and ran some blood tests. Thankfully everything looked fine and the doctor wanted me to monitor my diet and if I started to feel the same thing while exercising to come back immediately. ⁣ ⁣ I’m just super grateful that it wasn’t the worst and everything came back okay. I felt embarrassed that it could have been diet related and something I ate, but the other part of me has solace in the fact that there’s nothing wrong. It would have been a lot worse if I hadn’t gone and something was legitimately wrong with me heart.⁣ ⁣ All in all, today was eye opening and gave me a lot of perspective on my life.…
