Well, it happened. The second season of Northwest Christian's student-led, podcast-based audio drama "I Witness" went viral. Again. The first season ("The Lazarus Project") was published in April 2024 and was a viral sensation in its own right. But the second season ("Silent Night"), released over four consecutive weeks in December 2024, went gloriously viral. Featured by Apple podcasts as part of the lead-off podcast promotional page for podcasts in the "Arts" genre, I Witness spanned the globe and became one of the top 50 Arts podcasts on Apple podcasts. The heart and mind behind I Witness is Chris Zimmerman, also the founder of Red Five Media. Zimmerman uses students to craft both audio dramas as well as student-featuring short films as part of Northwest Christian's "NXNW Film Festival" fine arts initiative.
