Joining Bill in the studio this week was York folk-rock band The Converts. Having appeared twice on the show as a three-piece band, they have now expanded to a five-piece band, with the addition of a drummer and a mandolin player. They played a great set of their original songs, drank lots of beer, ate large packs of savoury snacks, and around 11.30pm got out their pack-up of cheese & tomato sandwiches! Joining Bill in the studio this week was almost no-one, as the booked guest, who postponed three weeks ago due to a puncture, didn't show up or communicate. After a couple of messages were sent out, Mike Cooling saved the day by popping along, arriving at 9.45pm and did a great set of original songs, including a couple of new ones, too. We even managed to have a couple of fig-related songs in the second hour. Ignore the 1st hour beep - tecnical incompetance-caused glitch!
