Whether you cook, bake, or have food delivery on speed dial, everyone has a comforting recipe or story to share. We bake cookies for our kids’ hockey teams and bring cheesy hash browns to funerals. Lefse and krumkake are in our DNA. Candy bars and apples make a salad. We'll ditch work for a lake day, drive an hour for an old-fashioned bakery, and do ...

This podcast asks who you are, how you could be remembered after you die, and if all that could be creatively encapsulated in your end of life plans. I would love to reevaluate the stigma of talking about this part of the life cycle and even find joy in thinking about what matters most to each of us. I hope that recording these ideas will be useful someday to each individual and their families. I also hope that sharing how we want to be remembered reminds us each of how we want to live. The Sculptor's Funeral is the only podcast dedicated to figurative sculptors living and working today. Art history, tech talk, news, and interviews for the figurative sculptor working in the Western European tradition of figurative sculpture, along with a social media forum and listener mail/questions/comments make this podcast required listening for any sculptor who knows the Fine Arts aren't dead, they just smell a little funny.

Saint Meletius was Patriarch of Antioch from 360 until his death in 381. One of his last acts was to preside over the First Council of Constantinople, held in 381. Saint Gregory of Nyssa, renown as one of the Cappadocian Fathers, was in attendance, and gave the eulogy at the latter's funeral. However, the text repeatedly alludes to an event of joy in contrast to the repose of Meletius. This refers to the very recent installation of Gregory Nazianzen as Archbishop of Constantinople. - Summary ...

Death is a taboo in most culture so people avoid talking about it but here on The Life Celebrant Podcast, we talk openly about all things related to death and funerals, and even suggests some new ideas that we likely be a trend in the coming years. Death shouldn't be gloomy; it should be the celebration of one's life. The Life Celebrant is led by accidental funeral director Ms. Angjolie Mei. Singapore's only certified funeral celebrant.

Kate and Madie are BYU students majoring in English. After discovering a terrible book entitled "The Skeleton in My Closet Wears a Wedding Dress," Madie had a full-on meltdown in the middle of Deseret Book and talked it over with Kate. They decided a podcast would be a fun way to talk about the book as well as lots of other cool stuff, and here we are. The podcast covers the book itself, as well as discussions on Mormon doctrine, Mormon culture, and lots and lots of pop culture. We like it all.
